Objective:to compare clinic effects of percutaneous and complications vertebral plasty(Percutaneous vertebraphasty,PVP)and protruding after percutaneous verte bral plasty(Percutaneous kyphoplasty,PKP)in treatment thoracolumbar Kumell 'S disease. Methods: 200 patients admitted to hospital diagnosis of Kummell's disease, including 30 cases of male, female 170 cases, and using PVP and PKP treatments for Kummell's disease 200 cases, each group 100 cases of two groups, compared with preoperative 1 day, postoperative 1 day,1 month,1 year using visual analog pain score(Visua lanalogue scale VAS)evaluation of patients with pain of change, the Oswestry Disability Index(Oswestry disability index,ODI)evaluation ofpatients with functional activity changes, using X-ray and CT measurement of the protruding after Cobb Angle,The kyphosis correction rate at the end of follow-up was calculated, and the incidence of complications such as bone cement leakage was observed. The clinical effects and complications of Kummell's disease were analyzed. All data are represented by soil S.T test was used for comparison between the two groups, and X test was used for intra-group comparison.Spss17.0 software was used for statistical analysisResults:all patients completed the operation and were followed up to the end point.VAS scores: the PVP group and PKP group were 7.34±1.53 and 6.95±1.41,respectively,1 day before surgery,2.13±0.52 and 2.67±0.97,respectively,1 day after surgery, and 2.57±0.88 and 2.46±0.65,respectively,1 year after surgery.VAS scores of the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups from 1 day before surgery to 1 year after surgery(P>0.05).ODI scores: the PVP group and PKP group were 74.57±10.66 and 73.20±9.34,respectively,1 day after surgery,19.00±3.16 and 18.00+2.55,respectively.The ODI scores were 30.57±4.24 and 29.00±2.00 1 year after surgery, and the ODI scores of the two groups decreased significantly after surgery(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the two groups from 1 day before surgery to 1 year after surgery(P>0.05).1 year after surgery, the incidence of kyphosis correction was(45.50±3.15)% in the PVP group and(47.83±4.24)% in the PKP group(P>0.05).Complications: 2 cases of paraspinal leakage of bone cement occurred in the PVP group, and 1 case of paraspinal leakage in the PKP group. The incidence of complications was lower in both groups. Conclusion:PVP and PKP are effective methods to treat Kummell's disease.Better pain relief, functional improvement and early and middle kyphosis correction results were obtained by both surgical methods, and the incidence of complications such as bone cement leakage was lower.
