Objectives The Chinese medicine Qinfan decotion combined with antibiotics was used to treat lower limb erysipelas. The systemic and local symptoms, the improvement of various laboratory indicators and the time required for normalization were observed. Methods Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected and divided into a control group and a treatment group by lot drawing. The control group received antiinfective treatment(penicillin)plus anti-edema treatment(50% magnesium sulfate warm and wet compress)plus basic treatment(bed rest to raise the affected limb, light diet); The treatment group systemic anti-infection treatment plus basic treatment was the same as the control group, partially given Chinese medicine Qinfan Tang wet and cold compress treatment.Observe the systemic fever, local symptoms(skin lesion range, skin temperature, and perceived pain level),laboratory indexes(WBC,NE%,CRP,ESR)of the two groups of patients from 7 to 14 days of treatment, organize the collected data And analysis; If allergies and systemic discomfort appeared during the treatment, stop takeing the medicine immediately and treat it symptomatically; If the subject takes other medicines orally due to physical discomfort midway,it should be recorded and analyzed in time. Results 1.Systemic anti-infection treatment plus basic treatment plus Chinese medicine Qinfan decotion wet compress treatment was cured, markedly effective, effective, and ineffective were 13,10,7,0,total effective rate 100%;systemic anti-infection treatment plus basic treatment cured, markedly effective, effective and ineffective were 2,8,18 and 2,respectively,with a total effective rate of 93.3%;2.The pre-treatment data of the two groups were compared. The gender comparison was P=0.793,the age comparison was t=1.184,P=0.246,the course comparison was t=0.813,P=0.423>0.05;Comparison of patients' incentives was c2=0.914 a,P=0.816>0.05;comparison of patients' symptoms before treatment: body temperature comparison was t=3.378,P=0.071,skin lesion area comparison was t=0.252,P=0.617,skin temperature difference was t=0.248,P=0.778,the comparison of pain was t=0.242,P=0.810,P>0.05;Comparison of laboratory indicators before treatment: WBC comparison was t=0.103,P=0.918,neutrophil percentage(NE%)comparison was t=0.559,P=0.579,C-reactive protein(CRP)comparison was t=-0.375,P=0.709,ESR comparison t=0.349,P=0.730,P>0.05;3.After treatment, the comparison of the temperature were to return to normal of the two groups of patients, both were P<0.05;The laboratory indexes group comparison were P=0.000<0.05;The laboratory indexes group after treatment Comparison were P<0.05;Within the local symptom group,P were all equal to 0.000<0.05;Between local symptom groups, the median and quartile of lesion area in the control group were 3.00(2.00,4.25),and the median and quartile of lesion area in the treatment group were 2.00(0.00,3.50),P=0.001<0.05;Median and quartile of skin temperature difference were 1.00(0.57,1.52)in control group, median and quartile of skin temperature in treatment group were 0.75(0.22,1.22),skin temperature difference was P=0.075>0.05;Median and quartile of pain were 1.00(1.00,2.00)in the control group, median and quartile of pain in the treatment group were 1.00(0.00,1.00),pain comparison was P= 0.007<0.05;4.Analysis of safety indexes(ALT,AST,BUN,Ccr)on the two groups of patients before and after treatment,P>0.05.Conclusions The experimental results show that 1.Both treatment methods can treat lower limb erysipelas and improve its clinical symptoms, but the Chinese medicine Qinfan Tang wet cold compress combined with antibiotics is more effective in treating lower limb erysipelas;2.The Chinese herbal medicine Qinfan Decoction wet and cold compress combined with antibiotics has a short course of treatment and high safety in the treatment of erysipelas.Figure2;Table14;Reference 116...
