Normal Lung Function Of Healthy Children Aged 6～12 Years In Urban Area Of Hohhot City And Analysis Of Related Factors

Objective: 1.To establish an equation for predicting the normal value of lung function in healthy children aged 6 ～ 12 years in Hohhot city.2.The relationship between height,weight,age and sex of healthy children aged 6 ～ 12 years in Hohhot city was analyzed.Methods: in this study,420 healthy children aged from 6 to 12 years old in Hohhot city were randomly selected according to their age.German JEAGER by applying the company’s MASTER SCREAN PAED instrument type lung function forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume(FEV1)1 s,peak expiratory flow(PEF),maximum tidal mid-expiratory flow(MMEF),forcibly exhale25% lung capacity 50% maximum velocity(MEF75),forcibly exhale lung capacity75% maximum velocity(MEF50),forcibly exhale lung capacity maximum velocity(MEF25)seven main parameters of lung function tests.In addition,the sex,age,height and weight of healthy children were recorded.Results: there was no statistically significant difference in age,weight,height,FVC,FEV1,PEF,MMEF,MEF50,and MEF75 between the two groups(P>,0.05),except for MEF25(girls were higher than boys)(P=0.018).The 7 major parameters of children’s lung function in both male and female groups were positively correlated with age,height and weight,and were the most correlated with height.A multiple linear regression equation was established for the seven main parameters of lung function of healthy children aged 6～ 12 years in Hohhot city.Age,height and weight had different effects on the lung function parameters,among which height had the greatest effect.Conclusion: there were no statistically significant differences in age,weight,height,FVC,FEV1,PEF,MMEF,MEF50,and MEF75 between the two groups,except that MEF25 girls were higher than boys.The 7 major lung function parameters of children in both groups were positively correlated with age,height and weight,with the greatest correlation with height.The normal value equation of 7 main parameters of lung function in healthy children aged 6 ～ 12 years in Hohhot city was established.
