The Clinical Research On Modified Banxia Xiexin Tang Of Henoch-Schonlein Purpura With The Pattern Of Intermingled Heat And Cold In Children In The Comparative Treatment Of Decoction And Granule

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and the safety of modified Banxia Xiexin Tang granule and decoction in the comparative treatment of Henoch-Schonlein purpura with the pattern of intermingled heat and cold in children preliminarily.Methods: 78 cases from hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine who meet the inclusion criteria of Henoch-Schonlein purpura with intermingled heat and cold were divided randomly into treatment group and control group.The treatment group was treated by granule of modified Banxia Xiexin Tang,the control group was treated by decoction of modified Banxia Xiexin Tang.After 4 weeks’ treatment,we compared the changes of clinical symptoms of the two groups including the effective rate of the two groups and the recurrence rate after 2 months of drug withdrawal.And SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results: 1.2 cases in treatment group and 1 case in control group were lost after the experiment,75 cases were finished and aalyzed.2.There was no obvious statistical difference in the distribution of gender and age between the two groups(p>0.05).That means the two groups were comparable.3.Comparison of syndrome efficacy before and after the treatment in the two groups: Treatment in the two groups showed obvious efficacy in improving children’s primary and secondary symptoms(P<0.01);4.Comparison of syndrome efficacy between the two groups: The two groups both showed obvious efficacy in treating children’s primary and secondary symptoms(P<0.01);5.Comparison of curative effect: the cure rate children in treatment group(43.2%)had no statistically significant(P<0.05)with control group(52.6%).The effective rate of two groups was 100%.6.Comparison of the recurrence rate of the rash: After two months of drug withdrawal,the recurrence rate in treatment group(13.5%)had no statistically significant(P<0.05)with control group(10.5%).7.Safety evaluation: There was no adverse drug reaction in two groups.Conclusion: Banxia Xiexin Tang decoction and granule both have obvious curative effect in the treatment of HSP with the pattern of intermingled heat and cold in children.There is no difference in curative effect between the decoction and granule.
