Objective: To observe the effect of eye exercises on retinal blood oxygen saturation(SO2)in young people using fundus retinal oximeter.Methods:The trial is a prospective,single-center,randomized controlled trial.42 participants were divided into an eye exercises group and a closed-eye rest control group.Multi-wavelength structure-function coupled retinal imager(ROSV-M18,V1,China)was used to collect retinal SO2 data.Retina SO2 was measured once before and after the completion of eye exercises or eyes were closed.Finally,the measured data were summarized and analyzed,and the data was analyzed using SPSS26.0.Result:1.The changes of retinal SO2 in eye exercise group were as follows:(1)the mean retinal artery oxygen saturation(SAO2)increased after eye exercise compared with that before eye exercise(P<0.05);(2)The retinal SO2 of Superior Nasal,inferior nasal,superior temporal,inferior temporal and mean vein decreased significantly after eye exercise compared with that before eye exercise(P<0.05).(3)The Arteriovenous difference(A-V)of Superior Nasal,Inferior Nasal,Superior Temporal,Inferior Iemporal and average after eye exercise was significantly higher than that before eye exercise(P<0.05).2.Changes of retinal SO2 in closed eyes group: there were no significant changes in the mean SAO2,mean SVO2 and mean A-V before and after eye closured,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Comparison between groups:(1)Before intervention,the A-V of Inferior temporal in eye exercise group was lower than that in eye closure group(P<0.05).(2)After intervention,SAO2 and SVO2 were not significantly different between the two groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The difference of Inferior Nasal,superior temporal and mean A-V in the eye-closed group was significantly lower than that in the eye exercise group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.After the eye exercises,the average SAO2,the average SVO2 decrease,and the average A-V increase,indicating that the eye exercises can improve fundus blood circulation and metabolism.2.There is no change in retinal SO2 before and after eye closure,indicating that closed eye rest has no effected on fundus blood circulation.3.Eye exercises can affect the blood circulation of the fundus more than closing eyes.
