Objective:Typing of syndrome differentiation with diabetes and chronic nephropathy patients in TCM Syndrome Elements, obtained a repeatable, objective TCM syndromes, through the retina blood vessel caliber and the blood oxygen saturation quantitative measurement, studies diabetes, chronic nephropathy disease and TCM Syndrome of retina blood vessel caliber and blood oxygen saturation characteristic.Methods: ? Through established chronic non-communicable disease TCM symptoms information table, collected 64 cases of 2 type diabetes and 83 cases of chronic nephropathy patients TCM symptoms signs, combined Zhu Wenfeng"s TCM Syndrome Elements, reference Yan Shilin's TCM Syndrome Elements, using frequency analysis, and points analysis, Typing of syndrome differentiation with diabetes and chronic nephropathy patients on diabetes, obtained a repeatable, objective TCM syndromes.?Based on TCM Syndrome Elements research, brought into 64 cases of 2 type diabetes,83 cases of chronic nephropathy patients and 103 cases of normal subjects, collected retinal vascular artery?vein average blood oxygen saturation, arteriovenous differences, artery vein average diameter, artery/vein ratio, using statistics analysis, studies normal?diabetes and chronic nephropathy retinal blood oxygen saturation and retina blood vessel caliber, studies diabetes, and chronic nephropathy Yin Xue deficiency and Yang Qi deficiency patients'retinal blood oxygen saturation and retina blood vessel caliber features. Explore changes of different diseases with same TCM syndromes retinal blood oxygen saturation and retina blood vessel caliber.Results:?TCM Syndrome Elements research shows that in frequency method 2 type diabetes patients TCM Syndrome mainly concentrates in the liver (accounts for 35.9%), Yang qi deficiency (account for 45.3%). Yin Xue deficiency (accounts for 32.8%), chronic nephrosis patients TCM Syndrome mainly concentrates in the liver (accounts for 79.52%), spleen(accounts for 54.22%) and kidney (accounts for 51.81%), Yang Qi deficiency (account for 54.21%), Yin Xue deficiency (accounts for 38.55%).?Diabetes patients retinal average artery blood oxygen saturation (102.76±9.79%) is higher than normal subjects (95.91±4.88%), has statistical significance (p<0.05), vein blood oxygen saturation (63.33±7.76%) is slightly higher than normal subjects (62.21±6.96%), but has no statistical significance (p>0.05), arteriovenous differences (39.44±8.8%) is higher than normal subjects (33.70±6.63%), has statistical significance (p<0.05); Diabetes patients retinal vein caliber(169.29±17.85?m)is wider than the normal group (158.97±16.33 ?m), A/V ratio (0.75±0.08) is smaller than normal person (0.80±0.10), the difference has statistics significance (p<0.05).?Chronic nephrosis patients retina average arterial blood oxygen saturation (98.20±7.88%) is higher than normal subjects, there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05), venous blood oxygen saturation (63.87± 6.39%) compared with normal subjects was slightly higher, but the difference was not statistically significant (p>0.05), arteriovenous difference of oxygen (34.34± 6.37%) compared with the normal subjects has no statistically no statistical significance (p>0.05);Chronic nephrosis patients retina artery caliber (116.18±16.26 ?m) is narrower than the normal group (125.79±14.44 ?m), A/V ratio (0.76±0.11) is smaller than normal person (0.76±0.11) the difference has statistics significance (p<0.05).?The diabetes course and the retina average blood oxygen, caliber had no correlation (p>0.05), there was a positive correlation between chronic nephrosis disease stages and retina artery, venous blood oxygen saturation (p<0.05).?Yin Xue deficiency (101.41±10.1%).
