Objective:To observe the changes of retinal blood oxygen saturation after wearing orthokeratology lens among myopia children with qi-insuficiency constitution, and to explore whether wearing orthokeratology lens can affect the oxygen metabolism of retinal of myopia children with qi-insuficiency constitution,it provides a new entry point and perspective for the mechanism of orthokeratology lens.Methods:35 cases and 35 eyes were included. Before the treatment of orthokeratology lens, the data of retinal blood oxygen saturation were collected by the retinal image measuring instrument with multi wavelength structure and function coupling. After the first day,the second week and the first month of follow-up after wearing the orthokeratology lens, the blood oxygen saturation of the retina was examined, compared with the changes before and after the treatment. Results:One month later,31 eyes of 31 patients were followed up,including 17 males and 14 females, with an average age of 10.58±1.48 years,an average naked vision of0.70±0.44,an average axial length of 24.35±1.01 mm,and an average equivalent spherical refraction of-2.28±1.35 D,the results are as follows:1.The mean arterial oxygen saturation of all subjects did not change significantly in the short term after wearing the glasses, but showed an overall increasing trend(P<0.05),and significantly increased in 1 month after wearing the glasses(P<0.017).The mean retinal venous oxygen saturation of all subjects showed a decreasing trend after wearing the goggles(P<0.001),and it began to decrease one day after wearing the goggles(P<0.017).The indexes measured at each time point after wearing the goggles all decreased compared with those before wearing the goggles(P<0.017).The mean retinal blood oxygen saturation difference of all subjects showed a significant trend of increase after wearing the lens(P < 0.001),and a significant increase occurred 1 day after wearing the lens(P<0.017),and continued to increase 1month after wearing the lens(all P<0.017).2.Different gender, different dioptre to wear mirror average retinal arteriovenousdid not see the effects of different oxygen saturation difference(P > 0.05),but different age after wearing glasses on average retinal arteriovenous influence oxygen saturation difference(P<0.05),after wearing lens 1 months, group under the age of10 average retinal arteriovenous difference of oxygen saturation value growth rate is more than 10 years old the following group(P<0.05)3.In the correlation analysis between 1 month after wearing the lens and the change of retinal average dynamic venous blood oxygen saturation difference before wearing the lens, there was a negative correlation between age and the change of retinal average dynamic venous blood oxygen saturation difference(r =-0.538,P =0.002).In the linear regression analysis, after adjusting for gender and diopter, age was still the influencing factor for the variation of average retinal dynamic venous oxygen saturation difference(?=-0.483,P = 0.016).Conclusion:1.The wearing of orthokeratology lens has an effect on the retinal oxygen metabolism among myopia children with qi-insuficiency constitution, and can improve the imbalance between the oxygen supply and oxygen consumption of retinal tissues under pathological conditions.2.After wearing orthokeratology lens, the retinal oxygen metabolism of the younger myopia children with qi-insuficiency constitution increased more, and the abnormal oxygen metabolism of the retina was alleviated more obviously. Therefore, the treatment effect of orthokeratology lens on the younger myopia children with qi-insuficiency constitution may be better.
