Purpose:With the popularization of higher education, the number of undergraduates goes up with a leap. The employment pressure those undergraduates faced is growing.By describing the employment pressure of undergraduates and the distribution characteristics and current situation of depression symptoms, this research intends to explore the relations between the undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms,to discuss the intermediary roles of social support and resilience between the undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms. This research may provide some theoretical basis for learning the current situation of undergraduates' mental health, reducing undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms and remitting psychological problems in employment.Object and method:This research puts undergraduates in four different types of universities in Shenyang,Liaoning as the respondents. We employ the stratified random sampling method to take samples, and then they were surveyed with questionnaire. This research gave out 1300 questionnaires,1113 questionnaires are recycled effectively, effective recovery rate is 85.6%.The content of the questionnaire includes: the general condition of undergraduates,CES-D,undergraduate employment pressure scale,PSSS and CD-RISC.We use the SPSS22.0 to handle and analyze data.We also use one-way ANOVA and t-test methods to compare undergraduate depression degree differences with different demography characteristics; We analyze correlativity among variables with Pearson's analysis as well;By using hierarchical regression analysis,we probe the influence of undergraduate employment, social support and resilience to depression symptoms, and build the theoretical model that social support and resilience have intermediary effect to the relation between undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms. On this basis,we use progressive resampling method to check this effect.Result:1.The undergraduate depression symptoms average score is 35.82±15.73,female students' average score is higher than male students'(P < 0.01).2.The results of one-way ANOVA show those factors influenced the undergraduate depression symptoms are the job searching experience, family factor, school factor and physiological factor.3.Correlation analysis result shows that employment pressure(self-condition,job expectancy, job searching experience, family factor, school factor, physiological factor)and the total points of depression symptoms are positive correlation, resilience(tenacity, strength, optimistic),social support(family support, friends support, other support)are negative correlation with depression symptoms.Employment pressure(self-condition,job expectancy, job searching experience, family factor, school factor, physiological factor),resilience(tenacity, strength, optimistic)and social support(family support, friends support, other support)are in negative correlation.4.Multiple hierarchical regression analysis shows social support and resilience partly play intermediary role in the relation between undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms.Conclusion:1.Undergraduate employment pressure has a negative predictive effect on depressive symptoms.2.Social support plays a role in the relationship between undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms.3.Resilience plays a role in the relationship between undergraduate employment pressure and depression symptoms.
