Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Children’s Peripheral Facial Paralysis(Syndrome Of Wind Cold Attacking Collaterals) By Pressing Needle Combined With Shallow Needling Of Filiform Needle

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of pressing acupuncture combined with filiform acupuncture in the treatment of children ’s peripheral facial paralysis(wind cold attacking collaterals),and to provide an effective method for the clinical treatment of children’ s peripheral facial paralysis.Methods: 40 subjects who met the research standard were divided into two groups by random number table method: the treatment group(pressing needle group)and the control group(filiform needle group),20 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with basic therapy(mecobalamin injection0.05 mg,intramuscular injection once every other day),the control group was treated with conventional filiform acupuncture on the basis of basic therapy;the treatment group was treated with filiform acupuncture on the basis of control group,a course of treatment was given six days,and the curative effect was evaluated after two courses.The recovery of the patients was evaluated by recording the TCM syndrome score,TCM syndrome efficacy,house brackmann(H-B)and facial electromyography.Result:1.TCM syndrome score comparison: after treatment,the TCM syndrome of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),the decrease degree of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.The curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine: after treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 100%,the effective rate of the control group was 100%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the recovery rate of the treatment group was 95%,the recovery rate of the control group was 75%,the recovery rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.House brackmann(H-B)comparison: after treatment,the H-B scores of the two groups were improved,compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of EMG of facial nerve: after treatment,the EMG of facial nerve in the two groups was improved,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01)compared with that before treatment.The improvement degree of treatment group was better than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The combination of pressing acupuncture and filiform acupuncture can effectively reduce the syndrome score of traditional Chinese medicine and improve the clinical recovery rate.2.The treatment of children’s peripheral facial paralysis(syndrome of wind cold attacking collaterals)by pressing needle combined with half needling of filiform needle can effectively improve the H-B score and the recovery of facial nerve function.3.The treatment of children’s peripheral facial paralysis(syndrome of wind cold attacking collaterals)by pressing needle combined with half needling of filiform needle can effectively shorten the latency of facial nerve conduction and increase the amplitude of action potential.
