Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Bai Chan Zhike Decoction on patients with post infection cough(wind evil invading lung type)and its effect on serum CRP.Methods:70 patients with postinfectious cough who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group was given Bai Chan Zhike Decoction orally,while the control group was given Suhuang Zhike capsule orally for 7 days.Before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,main symptom and secondary symptom score and serum CRP level were observed.Results:1.Clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was88.23%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 81.81%,indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was similar to that of the control group,with no significant difference(P>0.05).2.Main symptoms: after treatment,the main symptoms of the patients cough and cough array were statistically significant(P<0.05),which showed that the Bai Chan Zhike Decoction was superior to the control group in improving cough and cough array,and there was no statistical significance in the white phlegm score(P>0.05).3.Secondary symptoms: pharyngeal itch,when itchy cough score was not statistically significant(P>0.05),cough score was not statistically significant in case of external cold and heat changes(P>0.05).4.Compared with that before treatment,the CRP level of the two groups decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Bai Chan Zhike Decoction can significantly improve the symptom scores of cough and choking cough array in patients with cough afterinfection,and it is better than the control group.2.Bai Chan Zhike Decoction can reduce the level of serum CRP in patients with cough after infection.
