The Clinical Observation On Postinfectious Cough Of Wind-evil Invading Lung Treatment With Zhikegubiao Method

Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical security and validity of zhikegubiao method in treating postinfectious cough and to explore its mechanism. Methods: 60 patients were divided into two groups at random. 30 patients in observation group were treated with Zhike Gubiao soup. 30 patients in control group were treated with Pentoxyverine Citrate Tablets.The related items were measured before and after the treatment. Results: The clinical study showed that there is a significant difference (P<0.05) between the two groups.From the clinical study,the method Zhikegubiao had satisfactory curative effect,may due to mitigate inflammation of respiratory tract and/or lower airway epithelium. Conclusions: Zhikegubiao method is an effective medicament of treating postinfectious cough,which can moderate the clinical symptoms,promote the patients' recovery,deferthe progress of disease and reduce the pulmonary damages.
