Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of numbness in the limbs after a stroke treated by pricking blood at the end of finger and toe combined with pounding acupuncture Methods:The 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by pricking blood at the end of finger and toe combined with pounding acupuncture. The control group was treated with routine acupuncture. The course of treatment is 4 weeks.Patients were assessed with Fugl-Meyer sensory assessment scale(FMA sensory assessment),VAS scale and Modified Barthel Index(MBI)before and after treatment. After 4 weeks of treatment,2 cases fell off in treatment group and 1case fell off in control group. At last,28 cases in treatment group and 29 cases in control group were completed the whole research process and entered data analysis.Results:1.FMA sensory assessment scale:After treatment, the FMA sensory assessment scales of the two groups was higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group had better effect in improving sensory disturbance.2.VAS:After treatment, the VAS assessment scales of the two groups was lower than those before treatment(P <0.05),and the treatment group was lower than the control group(P <0.05).The treatment group had better effect in relieving the patients' subjective numbness.3.MBI:After treatment, the MBI assessment scales of the two groups was higher than those before treatment(P <0.05),and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P <0.05).The treatment group had better effectin improving the ability of daily living.4.The clinical efficacy:After treatment, the total effective rate was92.9% in the treatment group. The total effective rate was 86.2% in the control group. The total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Pricking blood at the end of finger and toe combined with pounding acupuncture and routine acupuncture can improve the symptoms of apoplectic numbness,at the same time, these two methods help patients to improve their ability of daily living.2.The clinical effect of Pricking blood at the end of finger and toe combined with pounding acupuncture on apoplectic numbness is better than that of the control group.
