Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Limb Numbness After Apoplexy By Acupuncture At Four Guan Acupoint

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture at Siguan point on limbs numbness after stoke.Methods:60 cases of limbs numbness after stroke were selected and then divided into 30 cases of treatment group(Si-guan point group)and control group of 30 patients(no Si-guan point group).In the control group the routine acupuncture treatment was adopted at the points,such asBaihui-Qubin on the healthy side,Quchi?Waiguan?Zhongzhu?Xuanzhong and Kunlun on the affected side,In the treatment group the basis of routine acupuncture treatment in the control group,Siguan point was added by twirling,lifting and thrusting with complement or reduction according to patients conditions,two groups of treatment 1 times a day,for 4 weeks as a course,after the course assessment Fugl Meyer sensory score and clinical curative effect.Result:1.There was no significant difference in baseline indicators between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).2.After treatment,Fugl-meyer scores were significantly increased in both groups(P<0.05).3.After treatment,Fugl-meyer sensation score was observed in both groups,and the increase in the treatment group was significantly greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.1%(27/29),and the total effective rate of the control group was 71.4%(20/28),which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Siguan points can significantly reduce the symptoms of limbs numbness after stroke.2.Routine acupuncture and Siguan can improve the clinical effect of acupuncture treatment on limb numbness after stroke.
