Clinical Observation Of Qutantongluo Prescription In Treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(Phlegm And Blood Stasis Obstruction Type)

Objective:By observing and recording the changes of TCM single symptom score,total syndrome score,common peroneal nerve MCV,superficial peroneal nerve SCV,and Michigan(MNSI)score before and after the treatment of patients,verify the effectiveness of Qutantongluo prescription for DPN patients(phlegm and blood stasis obstruction type)Methods:Select the patients who were treated in the outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2019 to December 2019.According to the inclusion criteria,select 60 DPN patients(phlegm and blood stasis obstruction type),divided them into treat group and control group,The two groups of patients were given basic hypoglycemic therapy with medication and diet and sports education.The control group was given methylcobalamin tablets and taken orally 3 times a day at 500ug,the treatment group was given Qutantongluo prescription on the basis of control group,take one dose of decoction daily for 12 weeks.Compare the changes of TCM single symptom score,total syndrome score,common peroneal nerve MCV,superficial peroneal nerve SCV,and Michigan(MNSI)score of the two groups before and after taking medicine And compare between groupsResult:1.After treatment,each TCM symptom score of the two groups patients were reduced compared with that before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The treatment group had better improvement than the control group in limb tingling,drowsiness,mouth sticky,tiredness,sticky stools,and heavy head dizziness.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)2.After treatment,the total score of TCM syndromes in both groups were lower than before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the improvement of the total syndromes score in the treatment group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)3.After treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,the effective rate of the control group was 73.33%.The treatment group had better efficacy than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)4.After treatment,the bilateral common peroneal nerve MCV and superficial peroneal nerve SCV were improved,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The improvement of common peroneal nerve MCV and superficial peroneal nerve SCV in the treatment group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)5.After treatment,the MNSI score of both groups decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the improvement of the MNSI score in the treatment group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)Inconclusion:1.Qutantongluo prescription can reduce TCM single symptom score,total syndrome score of the DPN patients(phlegm and blood stasis obstruction type),improve patients' limb numbness,tingling,drowsiness,mouth sticky,tiredness,sticky stools,discomfort criterion and heavy head dizziness.2.Qutantongluo prescription can reduce the MNSI score of DPN patients(phlegm and blood stasis obstruction type)3.Qutantongluo prescription can improve common peroneal nerve MCV and superficial peroneal nerve SCV of DPN patients(phlegm and blood stasis obstruction type).
