Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of medial plica syndrome of the knee with small acupotomology and plantar reflex zone, and compare it with the closed treatment group to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application of small acupotomy and plantar reflex zone manipulation in the treatment of medial plica syndrome of the knee. Methods: All the cases were selected from the orthopedic outpatient department of the first affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine from March 2019 to December 2019,and 60 patients who met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria of medial plica syndrome of the knee were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the order of visit. The treatment group was treated with small acupotomology and manipulation of plantar reflex zone, the control group was treated with local pain point blocking treatment,3 weeks as a course of treatment.Using visual analogue score(VAS)and Lysholm knee functional score to assess and compare clinical curative effect of the treatment group and control group before and after the treatment, according to to the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine "standard of disease diagnosis curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine",analyse the clinical curative effect between treatment group and control group, use SPSS23.0 statistical software to analyse accordingly, compare the curative effect of the two groups. Results: Comparison of VAS score before and after treatment in the two groups: treatment group: P<0.05,control group: P<0.05,Lysholm score before and after treatment in the group: P<0.05,control group: P<0.05,both groups were effective in improving knee pain and function.Compared with the control group, the VAS score in the treatment group was P<0.05,and the Lysholm score was P<0.05,both of which had significant statistical significance, indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in the improvement of knee joint pain and function. The total effectiverate of the control group was 75.86%,and the treatment group was 93.10%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group. Conclusion: Small acupotomology combined with plantar reflex zone can effectively treat the medial plica syndrome of the knee, and it is better than the local closure treatment in improving the pain and function of the knee joint,it is worthy of clinical promotion because of safety, reliability and less trauma.
