ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the effectiveness and mechanism of medium-frequency electrical stimulation of the plantar reflex zone in the treatment of postoperative headache in patients with thyroid cancer,so as to be widely used in clinical practice.MethodsA total of 103 patients with thyroid cancer who underwent concurrent surgical treatment of vascular thyroid surgery in the University Hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2017.05-2018.04 and met the inclusion criteria were were selected and included in the observation.According to the order of patient consultation, patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups according to the sampling method. After removing the shedding cases,50 patients in the treatment group(conventional treatment+intermediate frequency electrical stimulation of the plantar reflex zone),the control group(single In the conventional treatment group,50 cases were treated with 3 days as a course of treatment. At the end of the course of treatment, statistical analysis and summary of the clinical data obtained through recording and collation were performed. Both groups of patients were treated with traditional open surgery. The surgical plan was based on the 2012 edition of the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Thyroid Nodules and Differentiated Thyroid Cancer.Based on ethical requirements, the study protocol did not take a blank control. The control group received routine treatment 24 hours after surgery(Wu Zhu Yu hot compress neck+ear acupoint pressed beans),the treatment group received routine treatment+intermediate frequency electrical stimulation of the plantar reflex zone 24 hours after surgery, both 20 minutes/time,2 times a day.The total scores of postoperative headache, the changes in basic activities of daily living(BADL),and the changes of C-reactive protein(CRP)concentration were observed and compared in the two groups. And monitor relevant safety indicators. All data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 software package.Results1.The total scores of headache in the two groups were compared before and after treatment. The total scores of headache in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0,05).The total score of headache in the two groups was compared between the groups at 48 hours after treatment. The significance of learning(P<0.05),the total score of headache in the treatment group was lower than that of the control group;the total score of headache in the two groups was compared between the 24h and 72h after treatment, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)-2.There was no significant difference in the total headache efficacy between the two groups at 24h and 72h after treatment(P<0.05),and the total headache efficacy of the treatment group at 48h after treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the effective rate of headache treatment between the two groups at 24h and 72h after treatment(P>0,05),and the effective rate of headache treatment was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group at 48h after treatment(P<0.05).3.The CRP values of the two groups were compared before and after treatment for 72 hours. The CRP values of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the CRP values between the two groups after 72 hours of treatment(P>0.05).4.Before and after treatment of BADL scores in both groups, the scores of the two groups increased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the comparison of BADL scores after treatment(P>0.05).5.Three patients were discharged early and the study was terminated early, which was a case of shedding. After the treatment, there were no obvious side effects and adverse reactions in the two groups.ConclusionThe medium-frequency electric stimulation of the plantar reflex zone can be used to treat postoperative headache in patients with thyroid cancer, which can effectively alleviate pain and discomfort, reduce postoperative inflammatory reaction, promote the recovery of postoperative basic daily-living ability, especially in terms of relieving pain,it is better than using Wu Zhu yu and ear point beans alone. However, the study did not reflect a significant advantage over the control group in reducing the inflammatory response and improving the recovery of basic daily living ability.Patients in the treatment process have no special adverse reactions,it s safe and effective, and is easily accepted by patients. It can be widely promoted in clinical practice.
