Objective: To analyze the effects of modified huanglian wendan decoction on blood pressure,TCM syndrome score, the maximum duration of the P wave, the minimum duration of the P wave,p-wave dispersion, left atrial diameter and left ventricular mass index of patients with primary hypertension with phlegm-stasis interaction type. Methods: From December 2018 to June 2019,a total of 96 patients with essential hypertension who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatient department of cardiovascular diseases of the first affiliated hospital of heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine were selected. The syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)belonged to the pattern of intermingled phlegm and blood stasis. The patients were randomly divided into treatment group(48 cases)and control group(48 cases). The control group was treated with western medicine valsartan capsule and lifestyle intervention, and the treatment group was combined with modified huanglian wendan decoction on the basis of the control group, and the drugs were taken continuously for 3 weeks.Blood pressure,TCM syndrome scores,Pmax,Pmin and Pd were measured, the left atrial diameter was observed by echocardiography, and the left ventricular mass index was calculated by formula.SPSS20.0 statistics were used to analyze various observation results and their correlation and draw a conclusion.Results:1.After treatment, blood pressure in both groups decreased(P<0.01),the effective rate of blood pressure was 91.1% in the treatment group and 84.8% in the control group, the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the total score of TCM syndromes in both groups decreased(P<0.01),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).The effective rate of TCM syndrome in treatment group was 84.4%,the effective rate in the control group was 71.7%,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.After treatment,Pmax and Pd were decreased(P<0.01).The improvement of Pmax and Pd in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).4.After treatment, the LAD and LVMI of the two groups decreased, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The comparison between the two groups indicated that there was no statistically significant difference in LAD and LVMI(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified huanglian wendan decoction has better clinical efficacy and safety in hypertensive patients. It can significantly improve the TCM syndrome score, reduce the blood pressure,Pmax and Pd.
