Objective : To observe the changes of the blood glucose and islet ?-cell function changes for the newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes existed excessive hyperglycemia,After using a short-term intensive insulin pump therapy. Methods:A number of 36 patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes admitted to the endocrinology department of our hospital from January 2018 to September 2019(The diagnosis must be in accordance with the World Health Organization diabetes diagnostic criteria in 1999,either the FBS?11.1mmol/L or the HbA1c?9%)During admission, those patients were treated with a short-term intensive insulin pumps for two weeks and the guidances of professional diabetes diet and exercise.Under those treatments, the random blood glucose at the fingertips was intensively monitored and theinsulin dosages were timely adjusted according the alternation of blood glucose.Oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)and C-peptide release test wereperformed respectively before and after treatment.Controling beforeand after those remedies,in line with the fasting blood glucose(FBG)?2 hours afterglucose load(2hPG)?C-peptide(FC-P)? C-peptide at 1 hour(1hC-P)after sugar loading and C-peptide at 2 hours(2hC-P)after sugar loading, calculating the HOMA insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR).At the same time, the changes of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-L),red blood cell distribution width(RDW)and platelet distribution width(PDW)before and after treatment were compared. Results : 1.After treatment with a short-term intensive insulin pump, contrasting before treatment, both fasting blood glucose and glucose at 2 hours after glucose load of patients were significantly lower(P<0.05),and fasting C-peptide and C-peptide at 1 hour after glucose load were higher(P<0.05),HOMA insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)was lower(P<0.05).There were significant differences(P<0.05).But C-peptide at 2 hours after glucose load was lower than before treatment(P > 0.05),which was not statistically significant.2.After 180 days of short-term insulin pump intensive treatment, the patient's fasting blood glucose, blood glucose 2 hours after sugar load, glycated hemoglobin, body mass index, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and low-density lipoprotein decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05);fasting C Peptide, and C-peptide 2 hours after sugar load increased before treatment(P<0.05);The distribution width of red blood cells and platelet distribution decreased compared with before treatment(P>0.05),no statistical significance. Conclusion : The schem of a short-term intensive insulin pump is effective to reduct the standard of excessive hyperglycemia for newlydiagnosed type 2 diabetes patients,as well as improveing islet ?-cell function and the HOMA insulin resistance.
