ObjectiveTo establish a questionnaire applicable to exploring surgical staffs' risk perception during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia, explore the influences of risk perception level during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia by surgical staffs and related factors,so as to provide scientific guidance for improving the professional levels and skills of medical staffs.MethodPart IOn the basis of theoretical study, literature review,semi-structured interview and two rounds of Delphi expert letter consultation, the first draft of questionnaire on risk perception during induction and recovery period of general anesthesia by surgical staffs was formulated, the reliability and validity of questionnaire were tested through preliminary experiments, and the formal questionnaire was finally established.Part IIUsing convenient sampling method,A total of 463 nesthesiologists and operating room nurses from Four third class A and one second class A general hospital in Shandong province were selected as study objects in the Questionnaire survey. Both general information questionnaire and the self-developed questionnaire on risk perception during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia by surgical staffs were adopted to investigate the current status of risk perception during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia by surgical staffs,in the meanwhile,single-factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were performed on influencing factors.ResultPart I1.In accordance with two rounds of Delphi expert letter consultation, the effective recovery of questionnaire was 100%.The authoritative coefficients of expert letter consultation were 0.86 and 0.89,respectively;while the coordinated coefficients(Kendall's W)were 0.17 and 0.39(P<0.05),After the inquiry,10 items were deleted,2items were modified,5 dimensions and 46 items of the questionnaire were determined.2.Cronbach?s ? coefficient of questionnaire measured after the pre-experiment was0.959,the test-retest reliability two weeks later was 0.942,the overall content validity of questionnaire(S-CVI)was0.975,and the content validity(I-CVI)of each item wasdistributed between 0.90 and 1.00.Exploratory factor analysis in induction period and awakening period extracted 5 common factors with characteristic values greater than 1,with cumulative variance contribution rates of 86.663% and 88.423%.The questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Finally,5 dimensions and 46 items of questionnaire on risk perception during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia by surgical staffs were determined.Part II1.The anesthesiologists' scores of risk perception level during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia were:(102.02±10.88)and(102.99±10.61).The dimension with the lowest score during the induction of general anesthesia was "risk control",and the dimension with the highest score was "risk behavior".The dimension with the lowest score during the recovery of general anesthesia was "risk control",and the dimensions with the highest score were "risk attitude" and "risk behavior".Multiple linear regression analysis during induction period and recovery period of general anesthesia showed that job titles, working years, hospital level, emergency response plan for anesthesia risk events and familiarity with anesthesia risk grade assessment were the main influencing factors(P<0.05).2.Operating room nurses' scores of risk perception level during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia were:(91.73±12.51)and(94.17±13.24).The dimensions with the lowest scores during induction period and recovery period of general anesthesia were the same: "risk knowledge",and the dimensions with the highest scores were both "risk attitude".Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, age, job title and training frequency were the main influencing factors during the induction period of general anesthesia, which was different from the recovery period of general anesthesia:with age,job title and training frequency as the main influencing factors(P<0.05).3.Comparison of risk perception status between anesthesiologists and operating room nurses during induction and recovery periods showed that:During the induction period of general anesthesia, anesthesiologists scored significantly higher than operating room nurses in the five dimensions of "risk knowledge","risk control","risk attitude","risk behavior" and "risk measures"(P < 0.05).During the waking period of general anesthesia, the scores of anesthesiologists in the four dimensions of "risk knowledge","risk attitude","risk behavior" and "risk measures" were significantly higher than those of operating room nurses(P < 0.05).Conclusion1.The prepared questionnaire had good reliability and validity and could be used to investigate the current status of risk perception during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia.2.Analysis on the current status and influencing factors of risk perception during the induction and recovery period of general anesthesia by surgical staffs could effectively improve the risk cognition ability of surgical staffs, meanwhile improve the quality of anesthesia and nursing work,so as to reduce the probability of patients encountering risks, which had a great application and promotion value for clinical medical staffs.
