Research On Union Participation In Health Care Work

With China's economic and social development,people's living standards improved a lot.However,the contradiction between the protection of basic medical security system and the people's growing health care needs is obviously increasing.Seeing a doctor is difficult and costly.To ease this conflict,the government encourages the development of various types of supplementary medical insurance.Since 2013,the Yiyang City Federation of Trade Unions has been preparing for the workers' mutual assistance of medical treatment,Formally launched in January 2014.Currently it holds more than 100,000 participants and the cumulative distribution funds are nearly 20 million yuan.Over 10,000 have enjoyed the financial aid of medical expenses.The development of medical assistance for workers is a new thing for the trade union organizations in this city.There are many difficulties in the practical work.This paper mainly uses the theory of public management to analyze the current situation of the work of medical assistance for employees in Yiyang City,and summarizes the main problems in the work,and draws on the successful experience of relevant cases at home and abroad.This paper puts forward some suggestions and suggestions to standardize the work of medical assistance for workers in the current reality,and makes suggestions for improving the social effect of medical assistance for employees.
