Background:The development of smartphone terminals and the continuous emergence of new media have provided new ideas for chronic disease management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease?COPD?.The prevalence of COPD continues to rise due to accelerated population aging and continued exposure to COPD risk factors. The weaknesses of traditional management methods are increasingly revealed,so that many patients have poor participation in disease management and poor results. Therefore, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease management needs to be enriched and innovated urgently. Objective:this study explored the role and value of mobile phone new media in the management of chronic disease in patients with COPD,and developed a reasonable and effective management method for the management of chronic disease in patients with COPD.Research Method:COPD patients who met the admission criteria in our hospital from December 2018 to April 2019 were randomly divided into a control group and an intervention group with 35 cases each. The control group was given offline management and disease education.Based on this, the intervention group applied a mobile phone application?COPD housekeeper?and paid attention to the WeChat public account?Healthy Breathing Project?to measure lung function and 6min walking distance at the time of patient enrollment,3 months and 6 months, respectively,CAT?mMRC?GSES?Morisky medication adherence score and COPD health knowledge score. At the end of the intervention, patients in the intervention group were given questionnaires to investigate and evaluate their satisfaction with the mobile phone new media.Results:1.A total of 70 patients with COPD in the stable phase were included in this study,50%in the control group and 50%in the intervention group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender?age?smoking history?educational level?COPD duration?GOLD grouping and maintenance medication?P>0.05?.2.FEV1%pred?6min WD?CAT?mMRC?GSES score?Morisky medication compliance score and knowledge of COPD disease were not significantly different between the two groups?P>0.05?.FEV1%pred were measured at 3 and 6 months, respectively, and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant?P>0.05?.3.Compared with the control group, the difference of 6min WD?CAT score?mMRC grade?GSES score?Morisky medication compliance score and COPD health knowledge score measured in the intervention group at 6 months was statistically significant differences?P<0.05?.Among them, the CAT score?GSES score?Morisky medication compliance score and COPD health knowledge score showed significant differences between the two groups at 3 months?P<0.05?.4.More than 90%of the patients in the intervention group took a positive attitude towards the management of COPD by mobile phone new media intervention, and considered it simple, convenient, and rewarding. Conclusion:During the 6 months when mobile phone new media participated in the chronic disease management of patients with COPD in the stable period,FEV1%pred of patients in the intervention group showed an increasing trend, but the difference was not statistically significant,so it cannot be considered to restore the lung function of patients at present. The participation of mobile phone new media in the management of COPD is beneficial to the alleviation of patients'disease symptoms; It can increase patients'endurance of exercise;help patients to improve their self-efficacy;it can significantly improve patients'medication compliance;it can significantly improve patients'knowledge of related diseases; It is a new idea and trend of chronic respiratory disease management, which is feasible.
