Acupuncture Combined With Fumigation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine On Shoulder-hand Syndrome Stage Ⅰ After Stroke

Objective:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation on shoulder hand syndrome after stroke.Methods:60 patients with stage I shoulder hand syndrome after stroke were randomly divided into two groups: acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation observation group and simple acupuncture control group,30 cases in each group.Each group was treated once a day,6times as a course of treatment,one day off between the two courses,and the effect was evaluated after 4 courses of treatment.The curative effect was evaluated according to the visual analogue(VAS)score,upper extremity motor function(FMA)score and activity of daily living(BI)score before and after treatment.Results:1.After 4 courses of treatment,the VAS score of shoulder and hand of the patients in the observation group of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and the control group of acupuncture alone were significantly reduced,the FMA score and BI score were significantly increased,and there were significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).2.After 4 courses of treatment,there were significant differences in VAS score,FMA score and BI score between the observation group and the control group(P<0.05).3.After 4 courses of treatment,the cure rate,apparent efficiency,effective rate and ineffective rate of the observation group were 3.3%,66.7%,13.3% and 16.7% respectively,with a total effective rate of 83.3%;the cure rate,apparent efficiency,effective rate and ineffective rate of the control group were 0.0%,33.3%,36.7% and 30.0%,with a total effective rate of70.0%,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)Conclusions:1.Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and simple acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms of stage I shoulder hand syndrome in different degrees.2.Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can improve the upper limb motor function and daily life activity of patients with stage I shoulder hand syndrome after stroke,and can reduce the degree of shoulder hand pain.The improvement effect is better than that of acupuncture alone.3.The clinical effect of acupuncture combined with Chinese herbal fumigation in the treatment of stage I shoulder hand syndrome after stroke is better than that of acupuncture alone.
