Objective : Investigate the general demographic data,medication compliance,quality of life,psychiatric symptoms,and insight of patients with schizophrenia in the first month and year of discharge;explore the status of patients with schizophrenia in the community during the first month of discharge of general demographic data,medication compliance,psychiatric symptoms,and insight on quality of life;survey of general demographic data,medication compliance,and quality of life of patients with schizophrenia in the community during the first month and the first year of discharge,Changes in psychiatric symptoms and insight.Methods:This study focused on general demographic data,medication compliance,quality of life,psychiatric symptoms,and insight of patients with schizophrenia who are currently living in Lixia District,Jinan City,Shandong Province.A follow-up visit was performed at 1 year after discharge from the hospital,using a combination of interview and assessment.A random sampling method was used to randomly select 200 community schizophrenia patients who currently reside in Lixia District and have been discharged from Shandong Mental Health Center for one month and meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria as the research object.The main assessment tools include self-made questionnaires(demographic factors such as gender,age,disease course,education level,marital status,employment status),the World HealthOrganization Quality of Life Scale Brief(WHOQOL-BREF),Positive and Negative Symptoms Scale(PANSS),Medication Compliance Questionnaire,Insight and Treatment Attitude Questionnaire(ITAQ).The survey started and ended from May 2018 to April 2019 and lasted for 11 months.Results:1.Among the 200 community schizophrenia patients in this study,the survey results in the first month after discharge showed that 87 were male and 113 were female.among them,a maximum of 95 people(47.5%)were aged between 18 and 35.education level A maximum of 75 people(37.3%)in primary and junior high schools;a maximum of 102(51.0%)unmarried people;a maximum of 151 unemployed people(75.5%).and a maximum of 141introverts(70.5%).2.The average score of the PANSS scale of the study subjects in the first year(47.52 ± 12.92)was lower than that in the first month(51.14 ± 9.74)(t = 2.943,p <0.001).In the first year WHOQOL-BREF total score(60.22 ± 9.74)was improved compared with the first month of discharge(53.60 ± 5.88)(t =-8.611,p = 0.004).medication compliance in the first year of discharge was significantly lower than that of discharge The first month(z =-4.480,p =0.000).The ITAQ score(15.81 ± 2.67)in the first month after discharge was significantly higher than that in the first year(12.99 ± 4.42)(t =7.83,p =0.000).3.The quality of life of community schizophrenia patients is significantly different according to their medication compliance(F = 22.013,p=0.000);quality of life and insight(r = 0.22,p <0.01),positive symptoms(r= 0.29,p <0.01),physiological field(r = 0.85,p <0.01),psychological field(r =0.87,P <0.05),society(r = 0.74,P<0.01)and environmental field(r = 0.77,p<0.01)showed a significant positive correlation with negative symptoms(r =-0.47,p<0.01)and general pathological symptoms(r =-0.43,p<0.01),the total score of PANSS scale(r =-0.56,p <0.01)and medication compliance(r =0.43,P <0.01),was significantly negatively correlated.4.Relevant influencing factors of quality of life include: PANSS positive symptom score(r = 0.291),PANSS general pathological symptom score(r = 0.430),PANSS negative symptom score(r = 0.473),and total score of the PANSS scale(r = 0.556).)The patient's employment status(r = 0.572)and insight(r = 0.596).Conclusion : 1.Schizophrenia patients in communities have a high unemployment rate and a high unmarried rate,pre-illnesses in schizophrenia are mostly introverted.2.The quality of life for community schizophrenia patients is positively correlated with insight,positive symptoms,physiological,psychological,social and environmental fields.It was significantly negatively correlated with the negative symptoms,general pathological symptoms,the total score of the PANSS scale and medication compliance in patients with schizophrenia in the community.3.The related influencing factors of the quality of life for the community schizophrenia include psychiatric symptoms,employment status and insight.
