ObjectiveTo explore the effect of continuous nursing intervention on patients with peri-menopausal depression on medication compliance and quality of life.MethodsDuring January to March in 2016, the 110 patients with peri-menopausal depression who were selected from the psychiatric ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were included in this research.55 cases was divided into intervention group and 55 cases was divided into control group. Control group used conventional care, routine care and telephone follow-up methods were included. The patients in intervention group accept continuous nursing, mainly including intervention within the hospital and family visits based on the pattern of Peplau interpersonal. After six months, patients' medication behavior, depression status and quality of life index in two groups were compared. EpiData was adopted to establish the database, SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used to conduct statistical description and statistical analysis,the inspection level was a= 0.05.Results1 sample fall offContinue nursing implementation lasts for six months, sample loss as follows: intervention group included in 55 patients, fall off 7 cases; Control group included in 55 patients,8 patients were off, the loss rate of the two groups were 12.73% and 14.55%respectively.2 Comparison of medication compliance of two groups of patients before and after interventionDifference between the two groups patients of medication compliance has no statistical significance different before intervention (P>0.05). Patients' medication compliance in two groups was statistically significant after intervention between the two groups(P< 0.05).3 Comparison of depression of two groups of patients before and after interventionBefore intervention, the patients' depression between experimental group and control group has no statistical difference (P>0.05).The difference in the experimental group was statistically significant before and after intervention(P<0.05). After intervention, patients' depression in two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05)4 Comparison of quality of life of two groups of patients before and after interventionBefore intervention, the patients' quality of life between experimental group and control group has no statistical difference (P>0.05).The difference in the experimental group was statistically significant before and after intervention(P<0.05). After intervention, patients' quality of life in two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05)ConclusionContinuous Nursing Intervention is a kind of safe and effective intervention mean, which can promote perimenopausal depression patients' medication compliance behavior, improve patients' depressive state and the quality of life.
