Objective:To explore the correlation between platelet count and clinicopathological features and prognosis in patients with malignant tumors. Methods:From January 2012 to December 2017,231 patients with lung cancer,90 patients with liver cancer,100 patients with ovarian cancer, and 57 patients with laryngeal cancer were enrolled in Affiliated Nanhua Hospital,University of South China, and The First Affiliated Hospital of University of South China.83 healthy volunteers from the Affiliated Nanhua Hospital Medical Center were randomly selected to be included in the healthy control group.Platelet counts and clinical data were collected to analyze the peripheral blood platelets of peripheral blood platelets and healthy patients with lung cancer, liver cancer, ovarian cancer and laryngeal cancer. There were differences between the analysis of platelet and clinicopathological features, and Kaplan-Meier and COX regression proportional hazard models were used to analyze factors that influence the prognosis of patients.Results:1.There were significant differences between platelets in patients with lung cancer, liver cancer, ovarian cancer, and laryngeal cancer and those in healthy people.Platelets in patients with lung cancer, ovarian cancer and laryngeal cancer were higher than healthy people, and platelets in liver cancer patients were lower than healthy people.2.There was no significant correlation between platelet level and gender, age, smoking, pathological type, stage, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other factors in patients with lung cancer, and the difference between platelet level and tumor size was statistically significant.3.There was no significant correlation between platelet level and gender, age, stage, tumor size, presence or absence of chronic hepatitis, treatment,AFP and other factors in patients with liver cancer.4.There was no significant correlation between platelet level and age, pathological typing, staging, surgery, chemotherapy and CA125 in patients with ovarian cancer.5.There was no significant correlation between platelet level and gender, age, primary site, stage and other factors in patients with laryngeal cancer.6.Univariate analysis found that platelet, smoking, staging, surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy were related to the survival time of patients with lung cancer.COX multivariate analysis found that platelet, smoking, staging, chemotherapy and radiotherapy were independent risk factors affecting the survival time of patients with lung cancer.7.Univariate analysis found that there was no significant correlation between platelets and survival time of patients with liver cancer, but staging, tumor size and treatment were related to survival time of patients with liver cancer.COX multivariate analysis found that staging was an independent risk factor affecting survival time of patients with liver cancer.8.Univariate analysis found that platelet, staging, surgery and chemotherapy were related to the survival time of ovarian cancer patients.COX multivariate analysis found that platelet, staging and surgery were independent risk factors affecting the survival time of ovarian cancer patients.9.Univariate analysis found that platelets and staging were related to the survival time of patients with laryngeal cancer, and COX multivariate analysis found that platelets and staging were independent risk factors affecting the survival time of patients with laryngeal cancer.Conclusion:1.The peripheral blood platelet count of patients with lung cancer, ovarian cancer and laryngeal cancer is higher than that of normal people.Platelet is an independent risk factor affecting the prognosis and survival time of patients with lung cancer, ovarian cancer and laryngeal cancer, which has certain clinical value for prognosis evaluation.2.Peripheral blood platelet count of liver cancer patients was lower than that of normal people, and there was no significant correlation between platelet count and prognosis of liver cancer.
