Objective: Discussing the influencing factors of the indwelling time of double J tube after ureteroscope and its influence on the patients after operation, and provide more effective evidence for the early removal of double J tubes after operation. Methods: Retrospective analysis of 409 patients with double J tube after ureteroscopic lithotripsy in our hospital from October 2017 to June 2019.Among them,179 patients with double J tube were removed 2 weeks after ureteroscopy(group A)and 230 patients with double J tube were removed 4 weeks after operation(group B).Collected the sex, age,BMI and underlying diseases of patients, and counted the stone load, stone location, hydronephrosis as wellas the related conditions of perioperative period, such as operation time, postoperative hospitalization days, postoperative fever and so on.Besides, the patients were followed up of related complications after discharge and the incidence of postoperative lithotripsy and adverse reactions such as gross hematuria, urinary tract infection, and lower urinary tract irritation symptoms were counted. Results: All the patients successfully pulled out the double J tube after operation. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the time of operation, the days of hospitalization and the complications of postoperative fever between the two groups(P<0.05).The statistical study found that the stone removal rate was 94.4% in the 2-week group and 92.6% in the 4-week group. There was no significant difference in the stone removal rate between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in complications such as gross hematuria, waist and/or lower abdominal discomfort and dysuria between the two groups after operation(P>0.05).The incidence of symptoms of urinary tract irritation in 4 weeks group was 49.17%(113/230)significantly higher than that in 2 weeks group(36.87%)(66/179).There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P=0.016).The incidence of urinary tract infection in the 4-week group was47.39%(109/230)higher than that in the 2-week group after operation 43.02%(109/230),andthere was a statistical difference between the two groups(P=0.004).Conclusion: It is safe and effective to pull out the double J tube in the early stage of ureteral soft-mirror lithotripsy.Early removal of double J tubes can reduce postoperative symptoms and reduce the occurrence of urinary tract irritation and symptoms of urinary tract infection.
