Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of intelligent pressure-controlled Flexible ureteroscope with conventional Flexible ureteroscope in the treatment of kidney stones(≤2.0 cm).To investigate the safety and efficacy of Flexible ureteroscope combined with intelligent pressure control equipment in the treatment of kidney stones(≤2.0 cm). Methods: Patients with kidney stones who were to undergo retrograde intrarenal surgery between January 2020 and January 2022 in our hospital were divided into a study group(60 patients)and a control group(60 patients)by the randomized number table method: the study group underwent retrograde intrarenal surgery with intelligent pressure control equipment combined with vacuum suction sheath;the control group underwent retrograde intrarenal surgery with traditional manual water injection method, and the stone load of all patients was less than 2.0 cm.The stone load, stone location, number of stones, preoperative and 24-hour postoperative white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil percentage(NEUT%),24-hour postoperative procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6 and 48-hour postoperative procalcitonin(PCT)levels were measured in both groups, and postoperative complications, postoperative hospital stay and stone-free rate were recorded in both groups. Results: 1.All patients in groups successfully completed surgery, and there were no serious complications such as ureteral perforation, rupture, sepsis and hemorrhage requiring surgical intervention.2.There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of age, gender, stone load, stone site, and number of stones(P > 0.05).3.The stone-free rate in the study group was 91.67 %,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The average postoperative hospital stay was(3.47 ± 0.62)and(4.28 ± 1.09)days in the study group and the control group, with significant differences between the groups(P < 0.05).4.The postoperative WBC and NEUT% were elevated in both groups(P < 0.05),but there were differences between the groups, and the postoperative WBC,NEUT% and interleukin-6 were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group(P <0.05).PCT at 24 and 48 hours postoperatively were lower in the study group than in the control group(P< 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two measurements(P >0.05),while PCT at 24 hours postoperatively were higher in the control group than at 48 hours postoperatively(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Intelligent pressure-controlled Flexible ureteroscope has a higher stone-free rate than conventional Flexible ureteroscope in treating patients with ≤2.0 cm kidney stones, and has a smaller postoperative complication rate and shorter postoperative hospital stay, which has better safety and effectiveness in clinical practice.
