Professor WU Xu's Clinical Study On Acupuncture Intervention In Children With Enuresis(Xiayuan Xuhan) Based On The Theory Of "Dredge Governor Vessel And Warm Yang"

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture based on the theroy of dredge govenor vessel and warm yang for children with enuresis(xiayuan xuhan)through the study of this subject and provide a safe and effective treatment for this disease.Methods:Fifty-three patients who met the admission criteria were diagnosed and treated in pediatric clinic or acupuncture clinic in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 201 8 to December 2019.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.There were twenty-seven cases in the treatment group and twenty-six cases in the control group.In the treatment group,one case was removed automatically,and one case was removed due to poor compliance.In the control group,one case was removed due to poor compliance.A total of 50 patients were treated.The treatment group used"dredge govenor vessel and warm yang"acupuncture combined with behavioral intervention therapy,the control group used behavioral intervention therapy only.There was four weeks for a course of treatment,and a total of three courses of treatment.We recorded the average number of enuresis per week before treatment,the total number of enuresis one week after treatment,and we also recorded the quantitative score of symptoms and signs before treatment and after treatment.We followed up patients who had been treated effectively three months after the end of treatment and recorded whether they had relapsed.Results:Main efficacy indicators(1)Effective rate:The treatment group's total effective rate is 72%,and the total effective rate in the control group is 36%.There is a statistically significant difference in the effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).(2)The total scores of main symptom scores:We compared the main symptom scores of the two groups of children before and after treatment,finding that the main symptom scores of the two groups both decrease and the differences are all super statistically significant(P<0.01;P<0.01).After treatment,the treatment group is superior to the control group in decreasing the main symptom scores and the difference is super statistically significant(P<0.01).Secondary efficacy indicators(1)Recurrence rate:The recurrence rate in the treatment group is 12.5%,and the recurrence rate in the control group is 33.33%.After treatment,there is no statistically significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups of children(P>0.05).(2)The total scores of secondary symptom scores:We compared the secondary symptom scores of the two groups of children before and after treatment,finding that the secondary symptom scores of the two groups both decrease and the difference is super statistically significant in the treatment group(P<0.01),the difference is statistically significant in thecontrol group(P<0.05).After treatment,the treatment group is superior to the control group in decreasing the secondary symptom scores and the difference is super statistically significant(P<0.01).Other indicatorsIn terms of the degree of enuresis during sleep and the degree of awakening at night,there are super significant differences in the treatment group before and after treatment(P<0.01:P<0.01),there is a super significant difference in the degree of enuresis during slee in the control group before and after treatment(P<0.01),and there is a significant difference in the degree of awakening at night(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of both main symptoms in the treatment group are significantly lower than those in the control group,among which,there is a significant difference in the score of enuresis degree during sleep(P<0.05)and a super significant difference in the score of night awakening degree(P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture based on the theroy of dredge govenor vessel and warm yang combined with behavioral intervention therapy can improve the main curative effect of enuresis in children more than behavioral intervention therapy.Acupuncture based on the theroy of dredge govenor vessel and warm yang combined with behavioral intervention therapy can improve the secondary curative effect of enuresis in children more than behavioral intervention therapy.
