Clinical Study Of Five-tone Therapy Combined With Scalp Acupuncture For Liver-fire Disturbed Heart Type Insomnia

1.Objective The aim of this study was to observe the clinical effect of five-tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture on liver-fire disturbance of heart-type insomnia.With five-tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture as observation group and routine acupuncture as control group,to explore the improvement of insomnia symptoms in patients with liver-fire disturbance of heart-type insomnia combined with scalp acupuncture,and to provide a feasible scheme for the treatment of insomnia.2.Method Sixty patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into five-tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture and control group,30 cases each.Western medicine diagnostic criteria refer to the third edition of the International Classification of Sleep Disorders,edited by the American Insomnia Society,and the diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine refers to the standard of curative effect for diagnosis of diseases and syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine formulated and promulgated by the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine.A total of 20 acupuncture times,5 times a week,Saturday,Sunday rest,a total of 4 weeks of treatment.The efficacy evaluation criteria refer to Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),anxiety self-assessment scale(SAS),depression self-assessment scale(SDS)and TCM syndrome score scale developed according to the diagnostic efficacy standard of TCM syndrome.The scores are recorded at the beginning and end of treatment,and the inter group and intra group efficacy of each group are evaluated.3.Results There was no difference in age,gender and course of disease between the scalp acupuncture group and the scalp acupuncture group before treatment(P>0.05),nor in PSQI,SAS,SDS and TCM syndrome score(P>0.05).After the course of treatment,there were significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment in terms of the scores and total scores.The five tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture had a better effect in improving sleep quality and alleviating sleep disorders(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in sleep time,sleep efficiency,sleep time and daytime function between the two groups and the conventional acupuncture(P>0.05).After treatment,the SAS and SDS scores in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference in efficacy between the groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms in the two groups were significantly improved,but the effect of five tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture was better than that of routine acupuncture(P<0.01).The total effective rate of the five tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture group was 96.7%;the total effective rate of the conventional acupuncture group was 90%,and the total effective rate of the Treatment group was better than that of the control group(P=0.015<0.05,the difference was statistically significant),indicating that the clinical effect of the five tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture in the treatment of insomnia of liver fire disturbing heart type was better than that of the conventional acupuncture.4.Conclusion(1)The five-tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture can improve the symptoms of insomnia in patients with liver-fire disturbed heart type insomnia.Both methods can improve the quality of sleep and relieve anxiety and depression.(2)Thefive-tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture in the treatment of insomnia is better than that of conventional acupuncture.(3)Thefive-tone therapy combined with scalp acupuncture is comfortable,safe and effective,and the patient's pain is small,which is convenient for popularization and application.
