Objective:To study the short-term efficacy of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy for the treatment of obesity and obesity-related complicationsr.Methods:.The clinical data of50 patients undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in the laparoscopic surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital from July 2014 to February 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.Surgery was performed by the same physician or the same group of physicians,with a follow-up period of 1-18 months.Results:Surgery was performed by total laparoscopic surgery,no conversion to open surgery,no serious complications occurred during the operation,no serious water and electrolyte disorders,severe complications such as stomach cramps and stenosis,operation time 150-210 min,intraoperative blood loss20-50 ml,the percentage of extra weight loss(EWL%)of patients after surgery increased,and the BMI of patients after 1 month,3 months,6 months,12 months,and 18 months after follow-up decreased.Conclusion:Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy is an effective,simple and safe surgical treatment for obesity and its complications.
