Expression Of Metal-matrix Enzyme-9 In Recurrent Rhinosinusitis With Nasal Polyps

Obj ectives:The expression of matrix metallase-9 in recurrent nasal polyps was detected by RTPCR.The expression of metal matrix enzyme-9 in normal people and patients with recurrent nasal polyps was observed.To explore the relationship between the expression and disease severity.The visual analogue scale scores of patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps and those with recurrent sinusitis and nasal polyps before and 6 months after endoscopic surgery were also observed.Methods:This study was a control study,including 39 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps,23 patients with recurrent chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps,and 38 patients with nasal septum deviation(not accompanied by chronic sinusitis previously)who underwent correction of inferior turbinate mucosa as the normal control group.Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qrtp-cr)was used to detect the expression of mmp-9 in tissues.ROC curve and AUC were used to evaluate the diagnostic efficiency of the disease.At the same time,VAS scores of patients with chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps and recurrent sinusitis with nasal polyps were collected preoperatively and 6 months after surgery.Finally,rank-sum test(kruskal-wallish test)was performed on the test results through SPSS and 23 software,and t-test paired with itself was performed.The significance level was set at 0.05.Results:Mmp-9 expression was increased in the CRSwNP group and RCRWNP group,and the increase was more obvious in the RCRWNP group.The difference between the normal group and the CRSwNP group and RCRWNP group was statistically significant(P<0.000).There was no significant difference in age between the control group,CRSwNP group and RCRSwNP group at p=0.295.The AUC of 0.814 indicated that mmp-9 had moderate diagnostic efficacy in the diagnosis and recurrence prediction of chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps.The difference of VAS score before and after operation was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusions:There was no significant difference in age p=0.295 between the control group,CRSwNP group and RCRSwNP group.In the control group,CRWNP group,and recurrent CRWNP group,the mean value of 2-ΔΔCt increased in the CRSWNP group,and the mean value of RCRWNP group increased more significantly than that in the control group.Mmp-9 has moderate diagnostic efficacy for the diagnosis of chronic sinusitis and nasal polyp disease.Nasal endoscopic surgery can reduce patients’ pain and improve their quality of life.There was no significant difference in age p=0.295 between the control group,CRSwNP group and RCRSwNP group.The relative quantitative expression of mmp-9 in the control group,CRWNP group and recurrent CRWNP group the mean value of 2-ΔΔCt was increased in the CRSWNP group,the mean value of RCRWNP group was higher than that in the control group,and the increase was more obvious in the RCRWNP group.Nasal endoscopic surgery can reduce patients’ pain and improve their quality of life.
