Objective:To observe the effect of Jiawei Huanglian Wendan Decoction in treating phlegm-heat internal disturbance insomnia with depression,by comparing the changes of the Pittsburgh Sleep Scale(PSQI),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and TCM Symptom Scale before and after treatment,in order to provide dialectical methods for treating insomnia with depression and new ideas for the prevention and treatment of depression.Methods:Sixty examples of phlegm-heat internal disturbance insomnia with depression patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given lmg of estazolam every bedtime,and on this basis,the treatment group was given Jiawei Huanglian Wendan Decoction.The treatment period was 4 weeks.Before and after treatment,the Pittsburgh Sleep Scale(PSQI),the Hamilton Depression Scale,and the TCM Symptom Scale were evaluated.The efficacy of Jialian Huanglian Wendan Decoction was clarified through statistical analysis of those data.Results:The comparison of the general information of the two groups before treatment,included patients' age and gender,were not statistically significant after statistical analysis(P>0.05).Before treatment,the PSQI score,HAMD score,and TCM Syndrome Scale score of the two groups were compared through statistical analysis,no significant difference(P>0.05).Intra-group comparing,the PSQI score,HAMD score,and TCM Syndrome Scale score of the two groups after treatment were all lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing between the two groups,the PSQI score,HAMD score,and TCM Syndrome Scale score in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were no obvious symptoms of discomfort during both groups of treatment.Conclusion:Compared with the simple use of estazolam group,Jiawei Huanglian Wendan Decoction combined with estazolam group to treat phlegm-heat internal disturbance insomnia with depression is better.The improvement effect of clinical symptoms of Chinese medicine is more obvious.There is no significant difference in safety between the two groups. |
