Clinical Observation Of Banxia Xiexin Decoction Combined With Huanglian Wendan Decoction In The Treatment Of Refractory Insomnia Caused By Phlegm And Heat Disturbing Heype

Objective: to observe the clinical effect of banxia xiexin decoction combined with huanglian wendan decoction in the treatment of refractory insomnia caused by phlegm and heat disturbing the heart based on the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and clinical practice.Methods: From March 2018 to December 2018,60 patients diagnosed as intractable insomnia with phlegm-heat disturbance of the heart syndrome in the department of encephalopathy of baoding no.1 middle school hospital were selected.Patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.The control group was treated with lorazepam orally,while the treatment group was treated with pinellia xiexin decoction and huanglian wendan decoction.The control group was treated with lorazepam orally,while the treatment group was treated with pinellia xiexin decoction and huanglian wendan decoction.Both groups took it for four weeks.Two time points before and at the end of treatment were selected,and Pittsburgh sleep quality scale(PSQI)and TCM syndrome score table were used to compare the efficacy of the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment.Statistical software SPSS19.0 was used to test and analyze the data of the two groups.Rusult: 1.In this study,the treatment group was treated with pinellia xiexin decoctiong and huanglian wendan decoction,while the control group was treaed with lorazepam.The two group of patients were comparable in gender,age,course of disease,total score of PSQI and total score of TCM syndromes before treatment.2.Sleep index analysis: total score,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the sleep status of patients after treatment;The scores of each factor were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the control group was superior to the treatment group.There were statistically significant differences in sleep quality,sleep time,sleep efficiency and daytime dysfunction score(P < 0.01),and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group.3.TCM syndrome score: total score,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the sleep status of patients after treatment;For each symptom score,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in scores of upset and chagrin,dizziness and dizziness(P < 0.01),and the control group was superior to the treatment group.The difference in sleep time score between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the control group was superior to the treatment group.4.Efficacy score: the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),and the treatment group was superior to the control group.Conclusion: 1.Pinellia purpura and huanglian wendan decoction can significantly reduce the total number of TCM syndromes and improve clinical sleep in patients with refractory insomnia due to phlegm-heat disturbance of the heart type.2.Pinellia purpura and huanglian wendan decoction modified can significantly reduce the total score of PSQI in patients with refractory insomnia due to phlegm-heat disturbance of the heart,increase sleep time and improve daytime function.
