Objective:The obese non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is common diseases among the society. However, there are few clinical studies on acupoint embedding for the treatment of obese non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and there is a lack of a recognized standardized treatment plan.In this study is expected to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and feasibility of acupoint-embedding combined with behavioral control in treating obese non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Also investigate the scientific nature of acupoint embedding therapy for obese non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and provide clinical basis for the acupoint embedding therapy. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria formulated in this study, there were 60 cases of obese non-alcoholic fatty liver disease patients were recruited from the acupuncture department and infectious department clinic of Nanjing TCM Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from July 2018 to August 2019.All of them were dividing to two group base on the consultation, and their 1:1 ratio was divided into a treatment group and a control group using a random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The acupoints for acupoints are:RH12,ST24(bilateral),SP15(bilateral),RH4,ST40(bilateral),and BL18(bilateral).The treatment group will increase acupoint embedding on the basis of behavioral control, and perform acupoint embedding once every 2 weeks for 3 consecutive months for a total of 6 times. The control group only used behavioral control interventions.Patients in the two groups were tested for indicators before and after treatment, mainly liver fat controlled attenuation parameter(CAP),liver stiffness measurement(LSM),body weight(BW),body mass index(BMI),waist circumference(WC),body fat percentage(FP%),and fasting blood glucose(FPG),Fasting insulin(FINS),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC)and triglyceride(TG),etc. The final statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS22.0 software. The X2 test was used for the count data in the two groups. The t-test was used to compare the data between the two groups. The mean standard deviation was expressed. The difference was statistically significant at P<0.05.Results:1 After the treatment, both methods can reduce the CAP,LSM,BW,BMI,WC,FP,ALT,AST,FINS,LDL-C,TG and improve the HDL-C(P<0.05 or P<0.01).2 FPG and TC in the treatment group were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01);the control group had no significant improvement(P>0.05).3 The improvement levels of CAP,BW,BMI,WC,and ALT in the treatment group were more excellent than those in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion:Compare to make a healthy lifestyle,The Acupoint embedding with healthy lifestyle has more effectiveness in obese NAFLD.Because of the result show that it can significantly decrease the patients' CAP,BW,BMI,WC,and ALT.And,the operation of Acupoint point embedding is simple and safe, which can effectively save patients' time.So it's applicable for clinical treatment.
