Purpose:This paper discusses the distribution law of six meridians syndrome differentiation of functional constipation,so as to apply the theory of six meridians syndrome differentiation to the treatment of functional constipation, hoping to provide reference for the clinical application of the traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of functional constipation. Methods: According to the purpose of this study, the six channels syndrome differentiation information collection table of functional constipation was established. From November 30,2016 to November 30,2019,120 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of functional constipation in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine and Yulin Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were collected.Syndrome differentiation and typing of six meridians by three experienced doctors.Input the data into EXCEL form and establish database.SPSS 21.0 was used for statistical analysis. The distribution of six meridians in functional constipation.Result: 1.In this study,120 cases were included, more women than men,and the ratio of men and women was about 1:1.44.Over 60 is the highest age.Urban patients are more than rural patients, mental workers are more than physical workers. The majority of patients with a course of 3-10 years.Eating disorder is the most common cause of the disease.Eating spicy and drinking too little are the important dietary factors.2.In this study, the frequency of constipation symptom spectrum was ranked from high to low in the order of laborious and time-consuming defecation, dry and hard defecation, reduced defecation times, feeling of endless defecation, feeling of obstruction of defecation, requiring manual assisted defecation, accompanied by abdominal distention, fatigue, poor sleep, bitter mouth, upset, abdominal pain and other manifestations. The tongue is mainly light white, with thin white moss and white greasy moss. The pulse is mainly weak, stringed and fine.3.The syndrome differentiation of six meridians was mainly single meridians disease,97 cases(80.83%),followed by two diseases,no three or more diseases were found. In the single meridian lesions, the six meridians syndrome types can be seen.According to the frequency, the order is Taiyin Disease > Shaoyang Disease > Shaoyin Disease > Yangming Disease > Jueyin Disease > Taiyang disease.12 cases(13.33%)were the most common.4.In this study, there are differences in the distribution of syndrome types, gender and age of patients with six meridians. The ratio of male to female is about 3.5:1 in Yangming disease, and more in shaoyang disease,Taiyin disease and Shaoyin disease.Patients in the middle and old age groups were mainly suffering from Sanyin disease, while those in the young and children groups were mostly suffering from Sanyang disease.5.This study found that there was no difference in the distribution of six meridians, residence and occupation. The majority of rural patients are Taiyin disease, while the majority of urban patients are solar disease, shaoyang disease,Yangming disease,Shaoyin disease and Jueyin disease. There were 13 cases of ether yin disease and Shaoyin disease.6.This study found that there were differences in the distribution of syndrome types and course of six meridians.Yangming disease and Taiyang disease were more common in patients with a course of less than 3 years(48.33%);Shaoyin,Taiyin and Jueyin disease were more common in patients with a course of more than 3 years(19.16%).7.This study found that the six meridians and constipation syndrome spectrum distribution were different. The most common causes of dry and hard stool and the reduction of stool frequency are Yangming disease, the most common causes of laborious defecation are Taiyin disease and Shaoyin disease, the most common causes of incomplete defecation are shaoyang disease and Yangming disease, and the most common causes of blocked defecation are shaoyang disease. Conclusion: 1.Women are more common than men in patients with functional constipation, and the prevalence increases with age, which is related to residence, occupation and diet preference.2.Functional constipation is mainly caused by single meridians, followed by combined diseases.According to the frequency of single meridians, the order from high to low is Taiyin Disease > Shaoyang Disease > Shaoyin Disease > Yangming Disease > Jueyin Disease > Taiyang Disease.3.Yang Ming disease is common in men,and Shaoyang disease,Taiyin disease and Shaoyin disease are common in women.Three yin diseases are more common in middle-aged and old patients, and three Yang diseases are more common in children and young patients.4.The most common causes of dry and hard stool and the reduction of stool frequency are Yangming disease, the most common causes of laborious and time-consuming defecation are Taiyin disease and Shaoyin disease, the most common causes of incomplete defecation are Shaoyang disease and Yangming disease, and the most common causes of bowel obstruction are Shaoyang disease, which can provide some reference for clinical classification.5.Six meridians disease can cause constipation.Functional constipation is usually treated by Taiyin.
