Clinical Study On Different Proportions Of Rhubarb And Mirabilite Powder Used Externally To Promote The Recovery Of Double-lid Blepharoplasty

Objective To further study the application of Rhubarb Glauber's salt powder external dressing pack after double eyelid operation,to select the best ratio of rhubarb and mirabilite powder to promote the recovery of double eyelid operation,and to explore the effect of different ratio of rhubarb and mirabilite powder on the efficacy of the whole compound formula.Methods This study was conducted from May 2019 to December 2019 in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine with a single eyelid or epicanthus diagnosed by plastic surgery,200 Eyes of 100 patients were included who were scheduled for surgery and met the inclusion criteria,group A,B,C,D were randomly divided into four groups,25 cases(50 eyes)in each group.The ratio of rhubarb and mirabilite powder in group A was 2:1,group B was 1:1,group C was 1:2,and group D was 1:5.All operations were performed by the same operator using the same technique.All patients were treated with conventional cold compress and external application of Rhubarb and mirabilite powder after the operation,received the same postoperative care except for the different proportion of drug packs.To evaluate and calculate the difference of pain score between 24h and 1h postoperatively,and the difference of double eyelid line width and periocular swelling score between 1 and 7 days postoperatively and immediately after surgery,wound healing and improvement of upper eyelid trauma were evaluated 7 days after operation.Through data collation and analysis,the best ratio of curative effect was selected,and the effect emphasis of different ratio was discussed.Results The difference of postoperative pain score between Group D and Group B was statistically significant at 24 hours;The increase of double eyelid line width and periocular swelling score was the smallest in Group D in 7 days after operation,followed by Group B and Group C,and the largest in Group A,which was statistically significant;Grade A healing rate:Group A>Group B>Group D>Group C,there was no significant difference between the groups;There was a significant difference between the apparent efficiency:Group D>Group B?Group A,and there were statistical differences among the total efficiency groups:Group D>Group A.Conclusion The 1:5 ratio of rhubarb and mirabilite powder had the best effect in promoting the recovery of double eyelid operation;There was no significant difference between the 1:2 and 1:1 groups in reducing postoperative swelling;Compared with 1:1 group,the 1:5 ratio had analgesic effect;Increasing the proportion of mirabilite appropriate may be helpful to enhance the detumescence effect of compound prescription.
