Analysis Of The Relationship Between The Mental Flexibility And The Quality Of Work And Life Of ICU Nurses

Objectives:1.To investigate the status quo of psychological resilience of ICU nurses in the third grade A hospitals;2.To compare the psychological flexibility of ICU nurses with different background data;3.To investigate the quality of work and life of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital;4.To compare the quality of work and life of ICU nurses with different background information;5.To explore the correlation between the mental flexibility and the quality of work and life of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital;6.Discuss how to improve the mental flexibility and quality of work and life of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital.Methods:Using the method of multi-stage and convenient sampling,234 ICU nurses from 12 first-class hospitals were investigated by using the Psychological Resilience Scale and the quality of work and life scale.Results:1.The psychological resilience score of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital was(3.24±0.73),and the scores of each dimension from high to low were strength,tenacity and optimism.2.There were significant differences in the scores of psychological resilience and the scores of each dimension among ICU nurses with different titles and ages(P<0.05).The scores of psychological resilience and all dimensions of psychological resilience of ICU nurses with nurse title were significantly lower than those of other Title Nurses(P<0.05),and the optimistic dimension scores of psychological resilience of ICU nurses with age ≥41 years were significantly higher than those of ICU nurses with age ≤30 years(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the scores of psychological resilience of ICU nurses in the third grade A hospitals(P>0.05).Chinese style4.The work life quality score of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital is(3.53±1.11),and the scores of each dimension are from high to low in order:work mastery,work pressure,career satisfaction,family balance,general well-being,work evaluation and working conditions.5.There were significant differences in the scores of work life quality and the scores of all dimensions among ICU nurses with different professional titles(P<0.05).The scores of work and life quality of ICU nurses in specialized nurses were significantly higher than those in nonspecialized nurses(P<0.05),and the scores of work and life quality of ICU nurses in deputy chief nurses were significantly higher than those in other professional titles(P<0.05).6.There was no significant difference in the scores of work life quality of ICU nurses in grade three first-class hospitals with different gender,marital status,only child,education background,age and working years(P>0.05).7.There was a significant positive correlation between the psychological resilience of ICU nurses and the total score of work life quality and the scores of all dimensions(P<0.05).The resilience dimension of psychological resilience can positively predict the working conditions,work pressure,work mastery,family balance,work evaluation,general well-being,career satisfaction and the total score of work life quality(P<0.05).The optimistic dimension of psychological resilience can positively predict the working condition dimension of work life quality(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The psychological resilience of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital is at a low level,which needs to be strengthened urgently;the score strength of each dimension is the highest,and the optimism is the lowest.2.Professional title and age are the main factors that affect the mental flexibility of ICU nurses in the third grade A hospitals.3.The quality of work and life of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital is at a low level,which needs to be improved;the scores of all dimensions are the highest and the working conditions are the lowest.A kind of4.Whether specialized nurses and professional titles are the main factors affecting the quality of work and life of ICU nurses in the third grade A hospitals.5.There is a significant positive correlation between the psychological resilience and the quality of work and life of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital.Improving the resilience and optimism of ICU nurses in the third grade a hospital will help to improve their quality of work and life.
