Clinical Reaearch On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (Cold Dampness Obstruction Type) By Penetration Needling Combined With Moxibustion

ObjectiveThe purpose is to observe the clinical effect of penetrating needling combined with Moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(cold dampness obstruction type),comparison with routine acupuncture and moxibustion group,this is a preliminary reaearch on the efficacy of penetration acupuncture combined with Moxibustion in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.MethodsThe subjects of this study were selected from the patients with knee osteoarthritis who were treated in the outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion Department of Hubei Academy of traditional Chinese medicine from March 2018 to December 2019,Among them,60 patients with cold dampness obstruction syndrome were selected.It was divided into two groups by random number table: routine acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and penetration acupuncture combined with moxibustion group,30 cases in each group.Acupoint selection of routine acupuncture combined with moxibustion group: Yanglingquan,Yinlingquan,Xuehai,Liangqiu,Neixiyan,Waixiyan,KneeYangguan,Zusanli,mild moxibustion was applied to Neixiyan,Waixiyan after needling to get Qi,the needle retention time and moxibustion time were 30 min,every other day,3 times a week,2 weeks as a course of treatment,continuous treatment for 4 weeks.Point selection in combination with moxibustion group: Yanglingquan through Yinlingquan,Xuehai through Liangqiu,Neixiyan,Waixiyan,KneeYangguan,Zusanli,mild moxibustion was applied to Neixiyan,Waixiyan,The needle retention time and moxibustion time were 30 min,the course of treatment is the same as that of routine acupuncture combined with moxibustion group.Observe and record the score of WOMAC and JOA before and after treatment,comparison of the clinical effects of the two treatment methods after statistical analysis.ResultsAfter treatment,the total effective rate of penetration acupuncture combined with moxibustion group was 89.65%,among them,13 cases were cured,8 cases were effective,5 cases were effective and ineffective.The total effective rate of routine acupuncture combined with moxibustion was 79.31%,among them,6 cases were cured,7 cases were effective,10 cases were effective and 6 cases were ineffective.After chi square test,it shows that there are significant differences,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the score of WOMAC knee osteoarthritis decreased in both groups,The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the results show that both the two methods can reduce the score of WOMAC knee osteoarthritis scale.Comparison between the two groups,the score of WOMAC knee osteoarthritis scale of penetration acupuncture combined with moxibustion group was better than that of routine acupuncture combined with moxibustion group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,JOA scores of both groups were improved,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05),the difference is statistically significant,indicating that both methods can improve JOA score.Comparison between the two groups,the JOA score of the treatment effect judgment standard of knee osteoarthritis in the combination of penetration acupuncture and moxibustion group was higher than that in the combination of conventional acupuncture and moxibustion group,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclision1.Penetration acupuncture combined with moxibustion and conventional acupuncture combined with moxibustion are effective in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,however,the total effective rate of treatment of knee osteoarthritis with penetration acupuncture and moxibustion is higher,it can relieve pain and improve the function of knee joint.it can relieve pain and improve the function of knee joint.2.The improvement of WOMAC score and JOA score of patients with knee osteoarthritis treated by penetration acupuncture combined with moxibustion is more obvious than that in the conventional acupuncture combined with moxibustion group.3.The curative effect of penetrating needling combined with Moxibustion on knee osteoarthritis,it is worthy of further clinical application.
