Clinical Study Of Jiedu Tongluo Baoshen Jiangzhuo Decoction In The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated With Hyperuricemia

Objective: The study observed the clinical efficacy of Jiedu Tongluo Baoshen Jiangzhuo Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia(damp-heat and kidney-collateral blood stasis syndrome),so as to provides the basis for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia from the perspective of damage of kidney by poison in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: In the trial,60 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyperuricemia(damp-heat and kidney-collateral blood stasis syndrome)were selected and divided into 2 groups by randomized control method,30 cases in each of the treatment group and control group.On the basis of foundation treatment,the control group was treated with Benzbromarone Tablets to reduce uric acid,and the treatment group was treated with Jiedu Tongluo Baoshen Jiangzhuo Decoction under the basis of the control group.An 8-week randomized controlled study was performed to observe the patients in the two groups.Changes in fasting blood glucose,2-hours postprandial glucose,serum uric acid,BMI,and TCM syndrome scores were analyzed statistically before and after treatment,and performed statistical analysis.Results: 1.After treatment,FPG,2hPG,HbA1 c and SUA levels in the two groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.01);the effect of the treatment groups in reducing FPG,SUA was significantly better than the control group(P<0.01),and the effect of reducing2 hPG and HbA1 c level was better than that in the control group(P<0.05);2.The BMI,waist and hip circumference of the two groups improved after treatment(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving BMI(P<0.05);3.Efficacy of improving TCM syndromes: After treatment,the total efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the efficacy of TCM syndromes(P<0.05);4.Clinical efficacy: After treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05);5.The test proved that there was no significant difference in liver and kidney function between the two groups of patients before and aftertreatment.Conclusion: The effect of Jiedu Tongluo Baoshen Jiangzhuo Decoction combined with Benzbromarone Tablets is obviously better than that of western medicine alone.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients,and achieve good efficacy in reducing blood glucose and uric acid levels,and losing weight as well.Furthermore,it has no obvious toxic and side effects.In our conclusion,Jiedu Tongluo Baoshen Jiangzhuo Decoction deserved more clinical promotions and further study.
