Clinical Observation Of Xiaochaihu Decoction Plus Guizhi Fuling Pills In Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression In The Elderly(Stagnation Of Qi And Blood Stasis)

Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy of Xiaochaihu Decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pills in treating post-stroke depression(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)in the elderly.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria,among the inpatients and outpatients of the Encephalopathy Center of the Subsidiary Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,eligible elderly post-stroke depression patients were selected and Randomly divided into treatment group and control group,36 cases each.All the included patients were given basic stroke treatment.The control group was treated with Lu Youtai(St.John’s Wort Extract).The treatment group was treated with Xiao Chaihu Decoction and Guizhi Fuling Pill on the basis of the control group.Record the basic information of each patient’s name,age,gender,family history,etc.,and monitor the HAMD-24,BI,and TCM syndrome score scales before and after treatment in both groups.Based on the improvement of these three items,perform data statistics and analysis with SPSS21.0 software.Result:Through statistical analysis of the baseline conditions of the two groups of patients,it was proved that the two groups of patients were compared in terms of age and gender,and the difference was not statistically significant,proving that the information between the groups was comparable.After experimental observation and data analysis,after treatment,the two groups of depression status,TCM syndromes and daily living ability,these three items were improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05).After the treatment period,the treatment efficiency of the two groups was compared,and the remission of depression was calculated by the HAMD-24 item score.The results showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.57%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 75.76%;The HAMD-24 item score before treatment was 21.62 ± 5.47,and the post-treatment score was 9.64 ± 2.69;the HAMD-24 item score in the control group decreased from 22.96 ± 6.80 before treatment to 14.58 ± 5.63 after treatment.The improvement of TCM syndromes of patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis is calculatedby the score reduction rate of TCM syndrome scores,and their total effective rates are:treatment group 91.43% and control group 72.73%,indicating that the two interventions on patients with qi stagnation The TCM syndromes of stasis syndrome have improved,but the curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The improvement of the daily living ability of the two groups of patients was calculated from the BI scores before and after treatment.The results showed that both intervention methods can improve the daily living ability of the patients,which is conducive to the recovery of nerve function.Conclusion:Compared with simply using Saint John’s Wort extract tablets,the combined application of Xiao Chai Hu Tang and Guizhi Fuling Pill can better alleviate the depression state of elderly patients with post-stroke depression(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)and improve their stagnation and blood stasis.TCM syndromes can improve the ability of daily life.This study provides new ideas for clinical treatment of PSD in the elderly.
