| Objective Hysteromyoma, a common disease within women, Particularly, it accompanies a high incidence rate which occupies 30-50%, has a tremendous impact on patient’s life due to dysmenorrhea, excessive menstrual flow, and infertility which contributes to variable impairment to women’s health, as well as inconvenience to their lives.Contemporarily,there are two kinds of main treatments to deal with Hysteromyoma; the first one istraditional Chinese medicine which adapts various symptomatic implementations such as oral Chinese medicine, enema, and acupuncture to achieve certain effect. The second one is western medicine which is mainly applied by doctors. Specifically speaking, uses of hormones or hormone derivatives, placement of Mirena intrauterine ring, conduct of conservative surgery, and removal of the uterus and so forth. However, there are controversial results in terms of Western medicine treatment; the advantages of remain the uterus is the symptoms related to Hysteromyoma can be controlled to some extent, meanwhile the negative aspects have to be considered as well, namely side effects and relapse after the treatment. Also, we have to take into account that if the uterus has been removed, the patient will experience a series of mental and physical sufferings, for instance, physical dysfunction,depression, and loss of self-esteem.Although the traditional Chinese medicine can significantly reduce relapse, but it will lead to poor patient compliance otherwise considering the treatment response, effectiveness, side effects and patient’s compliance, this researchis trying to find out viable and reliable therapeutic protocols; the combination treatment which consists of western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. It is conducted by observing the clinical performance to combine Marvelon and GFW to treat blood stasis adenomyosis, and to provide reasonable treatment regarding blood stasis adenomyosis.Methods All of the observations come from Gynecological clinic from March 2013 to October 2014, Taihe Hospital which locates in Shiyan, Hubei province. According to the inclusion criteria of the disease, exclusion criteria and TCM standards, the research collects a total of 60 cases observed cases. Also,in accordance with the principles of random, it is divided into treatment group(GFW joint Marvelon) and control group(Marvelon) which contains 30 cases, respectively. Specifically,GFW start 10 days before menstruation, that is, twice per day, one pill per time, 10 days as a course of treatment, and it should be continuous for three courses.Participates will be required to take Marvelonon the first day of menstruation, continuously, taking 21 days at the certain time, followed by withdrawal of seven days, then startingto take the same medication in next cycle.As a result,the experiment can be objectively evaluated by Observing and analyzing the relative factors such as the scale of dysmenorrhea, changes in menstrual flow, volume ofuterus, serum CA125,TCM syndrome integral in the two groups before and after treatment.Results Incomparison,although the symptom of dysmenorrhea, uterine volume, and serum CA125 have remarkable improvement(P <0.05), however, the overall clinicaleffectiveness of experimental group is much higher than control group.Additionally, significant difference can be noticed in the two groups regard to the volume of uterus, which particularly shows that p<0.05. Furthermore,during the test the participates in the two groups have not suffered from significant adverse reactions either side effects, also, general physical examination and laboratory examination have been observed in normal.Conclusion Compared with the simple use of Marvelon, the combination treatment of GFW and Marvelon can significantly improve the patient’s dysmenorrhea, excessive menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual periods and other clinical symptoms resulted from Hysteromyoma. Particularly, the combination therapy plays a crucial effect on reducing the primary lesion. Lastly, regarding to the evaluation of the experiment, there are no adverse events during the whole experiment, and most importantly, the study result will benefit the target population in the future, as well as the health professionals due to this kind of integrative medicine treatment practically plays an important role in reducing the related symptoms, preventing relapse. Therefore, the combination therapy can be popularized and applied to the clinic because of the affordable cost and remarkable effectiveness. |
