Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Application Combined With Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Periarthritis Of Shoulder (Wind-cold And Wet Type)

Objective: By exploring the randomized clinical control text of acupoint application combined with acupuncture for the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis(wind cold and wet type),to compare the efficacy of acupoint application combined with acupuncture and conventional acupuncture treatment,and to observe the acupoint application combined with acupuncture.The clinical efficacy and safety of rheumatoid periarthritis should provide a reference for the clinical application of acupoint application in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: 72 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 36 cases each.Acupoint application combined with acupuncture was selected in the treatment group,and conventional acupuncture was used in the control group.On the day of patient enrollment and the day when all treatments were completed,the patients' affected shoulder recovery was evaluated and patients were required to complete a Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)and a Constant-Murley Shoulder Function Score(CMS)scale.All summary data were analyzed by statistical software SPSS26.0.The adverse reactions that occurred during the treatment of the subject patients and corresponding treatment measures were collated and the efficacy and safety of the treatment methods were evaluated.Follow-up investigations were performed after 1 month.Results: 1.The effective rates of the treatment group and control group were respectively 93.94% and 87.50%,which were statistically significant.Among them,33 cases were actually treated in the treatment group and 3 cases were lost.The control group actually treated 32 cases,and 4 cases fell off.2.The visual analogue scale(VAS),Constant-Murley shoulder(CMS)joint function scale score and the score data between the two groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P <0.05),suggesting that the treatment group was better than Control group.3.Safety evaluation: There were no adverse events in the treatment group and control group during the course of the research.Conclusions:1.Acupoint application therapy combined with acupuncture can significantly improve the main symptoms and signs of the TCM syndromes as well as shoulder joint mobility of patients with rheumatoid periarthritis.2.Acupoint application therapy combined with acupuncture for the treatment of rheumatoid scapulohumeral periarthritis is safe and reliable,with fewer adverse reactions.3.Acupoint application therapy combined with acupuncture in the treatment of rheumatoid periarthritis is of greater universality and has low recurrence rate.It is helpful to guide the clinical treatment plan for patients with periarthritis of shoulder,improve the treatment effect and shorten the treatment time.
