Purpose:By comparing the clinical effect of traditional acupuncture and common acupuncture on the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with sciatica, this paper demonstrates the therapeutic effect of paraacupuncture and sciatica, and provides new ideas and methods for clinical treatment of this disease.Method:According to the diagnosis criteria and inclusion criteria of the disease,60 patients with lumbar disc herniation and sciatica who were treated in Acupuncture Department 1 of our city hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2018 to January 2020 were selected.60 patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 in each group. The treatment group was treated by sitting beside the acupuncture bone, and the main points were selected by sitting bone, and the matching points were selected according to the principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment The patients with obvious pain in the back of thigh belong to Weizhong point and Chengshan point;the patients with obvious pain in the back of leg belong to Yanglingquan point and Xuanzhong point. The control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture method, and the main points were selected: Shenshu,Dachangshu,Huantiao and Ashi;the matching points were the same as the treatment group. Before and after treatment, each patient was given VAS pain score,Oswestry dysfunction index score and the difference was compared.According to the improvement of clinical symptoms and signs, the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Finally, statistical software spss23.0 was used to collate and compare the test data, and a conclusion was drawn.Result:1.General data comparison: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.VAS pain score comparison: there was no significant difference between the two groups at the first visit(P > 0.05);after treatment, there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group had better efficacy in relieving lumbosacral and lower extremity pain.3.Oswestry dysfunction index score comparison: there was no significant difference between the two groups at the first visit(P > 0.05);after treatment, there wasa significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group had a better effect on relieving lumbosacral and lower extremity pain and neurological dysfunction.4.Clinical efficiency comparison: after two courses of acupuncture treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3%;the total effective rate of the control group was 86.6%.The clinical effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group can better alleviate the lumbosacral and lower extremity pain and dysfunction and other symptoms. Conclusion:Paraacupuncturing sciatic points can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with lumbar disc herniation and sciatica, which has a better effect, and the selection of points is simple, unique and innovative, which is worth popularizing.
