Clinical Observation Of Baitouweng Decoction Retention Enema In The Treatment Of Anal Sinusitis Of Damp Heat Injection Type

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Baitouweng Decoction retention enema in the treatment of anal sinusitis of damp heat injection type,and to further explore its mechanism in pharmacological research,so as to provide a safe and effective treatment for the anal sinusitis of damp heat injection type.Methods: 60 Patients,date from November 2018 to December 2019,that meet the inclusion criteria,were selected from the anorectal Department of Anhui Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 of them in each group.The treatment group was treated with Baitouweng Decoction retention enema,and the control group was treated with compound carrageenate suppository.The treatment course was 4 weeks.The scores of anal distention,pruritus,pain,congestion and edema were calculated before and after the treatment.The levels of CRP,TNF-? and IL-6 were recorded before and after the treatment in the two groups.Differences of comprehensive curative effect,recurrence and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared,and the relevant data were analyzed.Result:(1)Before the clinical treatment,the general conditions(including gender,age,course of disease),clinical symptoms scores and signs scores,CRP,TNF-? and IL-6 data of the two groups were statistically analyzed(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups,so the clinical data of the two groups were statistically comparable;(2)After the clinical treatment,for both groups,compared with those before treatment,the scores of clinical symptoms(anal distention score,anal pruritus score,anal pain score)and physical signs(anal sinus congestion score,anal sinus edema score)in the two groups were decreased after treatment(P < 0.05).In addition,at the end of the treatment,the scores of clinical symptoms and signs in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05);(3)After the clinical treatment,the levels of CRP,TNF-? and IL-6 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05).Also,the CRP,TNF-? and IL-6 in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,in a statistically significant difference;(4)The total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 66.67% in the control group.After 1 month follow-up,there was no recurrence in the treatment group but 5cases in the control group(P < 0.05);(5)There was no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion: the comprehensive effect of Baitouweng Decoction retention enema method is better than that of compound carrageenate suppository method.Baitouweng Decoction can significantly reduce the symptoms of anal distention,pruritus,pain,congestion and edema of anal sinusitis patients with hot and humid injection,effectively control the inflammatory reaction in vivo,and has good long-term effect,no adverse reactions,which is worth further clinical application.
