ObjeciveTo monitor intracranial pressure of patients with varying degrees of traumatic brain injury, discuss the meaning of intracranial pressure monitoring in traumatic brain injury,so as to provide clinical reference to the postoperative patients.MethodTo choose the patients with traumatic brain injure who are received and cured by the Department of Neurosurgery of Heze Municipal Hospital and the Department of Emergency Surgery of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from January 2015 to October 2016,and meet the selection standards, and divide them into observation group(group A): 105 cases, and these cases are divided into 31 cases of extra severe brain injury in accordance with the glasgow coma scale(GCS 3-5 grades);36 cases of severe brain injury(GCS 6-8 grades);38 cases of moderate and mild traumatic brain injury(GCS9-15 grades). For these patients, the intracranial hematomas are moved within 24 hours after admission, and the intracranial pressure is monitored.Control group(group B): 98 cases,30 cases(GCS 3-5 grades),32 cases(GCS 6-8 grades),and 36 cases(9-15 grades),and the hematomas are moved conventionally. To compare the inpatient days in neuro-intensive care unit(NICU),case fatality rates, incidences of complications, incidences of intracranial infection, hospitalization costs, postoperative glasgow outcome scale(GOS)grades, mannite dosages of the two groups of patients with equal GCS brain injury, and various comparison indexes should be applied SPSS20.0 for statistical analysis. The variables between the two groups are represented by the standard deviation(SD),the continuous variables between the two groups utilize t test, and the classification variables utilize chi square test. There is statistical significance for P<0.05.Results:The average hospitalization cost of the observation group are significantly higher than that of the control group;patients with GCS 3-5 grades: except the hospitalization cost, all the rest comparison indexes of the observation group and control group have no obvious statistical differences;Patients with GCS 6-8 grades: the inpatient days in NICU,case fatality rates, incidences of complications, and the mannite dosages of observation group are obviously lower than those of control group, the incidences of intracranial infection of the two groups have no obvious difference, and the postoperative GOS grades of observation group are obviously higher than those of control group;patients with GCS 9-15 grades: the inpatient days in NICU,and mannite dosages of observation group are both lower than those of control group, and the case fatality rates, incidences of complications, incidences of intracranial infection, postoperative GOS grades of the two groups have no obvious statistical differences. Conclusion:The intracranial pressure monitoring plays a more and more important role in traumatic brain injury, and can effectively improve outcome of the patients, and has a significant guiding significance in the clinical care of patients with severe brain injury.
