Objective: Through the survey of middle-aged and elderly community residents,to understand the status and risk factors of diabetes and prediabetes in Hailin, and to provide scientific basis for the development of diabetes prevention and control strategies and measures in Hailin.Method: A multi-stage stratified random sampling method was used to select 600 middle-aged and elderly residents of a community as the research object in Hailin, and a qualified nurse or doctor would conduct a questionnaire survey on eligible residents. The questionnaire includes: general conditions(age, gender, education, etc.),living habits(smoking,Drinking, etc.)and laboratory test results. The questionnaire entry and database establishment were performed using Epi Data 3.1 software and SPSS 22.0 for statistical analysis.Statistical descriptions of measurement data are expressed as mean(?X)and standard deviation(SD),and counted data are expressed as frequency and composition ratio(%).Differences between groups of measurement data were compared using rank sum test, and count data were analyzed by chi-square test.Statistically significant variables in univariate analysis were included in multivariate logistic regression.P <0.05 is the cutoff value with statistical difference.Result: 1?A total of 600 questionnaires and 555 valid questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and the effective rate was 92.5%.Among them,129 were diabetic patients, the prevalence of diabetes was 23.2%;68 were pre-diabetic,and the pre-diabetes prevalence was 15.9%.2 ? Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in diabetes t among the middle-aged and elderly with different genders, ages, and whether alcohol, obesity, hypertension, and triglyceride detection indicators(P <0.05);the differences among genders, smoking, obesity, and LDL indicators were in pre-diabetes status were statistically significant in the middle-aged and elderly residents(P <0.05).3?Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that gender, age, obesity, and TG were the main influencing factors of diabetes;gender, smoking, and obesity were the main influencing factors of pre-diabetes.Conclusion: 1?The prevalence of diabetes in the elderly and middle-aged residents in the community of Hailin City is 23.2%,and the pre-valence of diabetes is 15.9%,which is higher than the national average. It is suggested that the incidence of diabetes in middle-aged and elderly residents in the community is more serious.Health education for community residents should be strengthened and effective prevention and control measures should be provided to reduce the incidence of diabetes.2?Men,increasing age, obesity, and high triglycerides are risk factors for diabetes;men, smoking, and obesity are risk factors for pre-diabetes...
