Objectives:Through the liver ultrasound examination of the Han population in high altitude areas of Yunnan,to investigating the distribution of liver diseases and ultrasound measurement of liver diameter in normal liver, and studying the predisposing factors of fatty liver among the population,so as to provide a scientific basis for the accurate prevention and control of hepatic disease in high altitude areas. Methods:Based on the study of 9604 Han people in Yongsheng County,Lijiang City,Yunnan Province,a prevalence survey(including questionnaires, physical examinations, and ultrasound examinations)was conducted.Ultrasound examination is to diagnose liver disease and measure the ultrasound measurement of liver diameter in normal liver(the maximum slant diameter of the right lobe of the liver and the anteroposterior diameter of the left lobe).Single-factor and multi-factor analysis were performed to collect data on diffuse liver lesions, and chi-square test and unconditional logistic regression analysis were used for statistical analysis.Results:1.Among the respondents, there were 6797 people with normal liver and 2807 people with abnormal liver. The top four patients with liver disease were fatty liver, hepatic cyst, slightly thickened echo of liver parenchyma and hepatic hemangioma. The prevalence rates were 19.10%,3.75%,2.79%,and 2.00%,respectively.2.Ultrasound measurement of liver diameter in normal liver:the average left lobe anteroposterior diameter of the liver is 5.1 3(5.11?5.15)cm,and the average maximum slant diameter of the right lobe is 12.26(12.23?12.29)cm in normal liver population. In male, the left lobe anteroposterior diameter is 5.37±0.96cm and the maximum slant diameter of the right lobe is 12.71±1.34cm.In famale, the anteroposterior diameter of the left lobe is 5.00±0.89 cm,and the maximum slant diameter of the right lobe is 12.02±1.18cm.3.The results of hepatic diameters measured by ultrasound were grouped according to different ages, and the rank-sum test showed that there were statistically significant differences in the left anterior and posterior diameters and the right maximum oblique diameters of the liver in different ages.4.The results of single factor chi-square test show that the prevalence of fatty liver at different ages, education level, occupation, family annual income,BMI,whether for central obesity, whether to eat ham bacon, drink different kinds of tea, drink at different frequencies, eat red meat, camellia, spicy, and pepper, whether to having high blood pressure and diabetes, different physical activity status and life satisfaction were statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the high income was the protective factor for fatty liver disease.Occupational(non-agricultural),eating hemp(prickly ash),vegetable oil and blending oil for food, high blood pressure, diabetes,BMI,and central obesity are risk factors for fatty liver disease.Conclusions:1.High altitude areas in yunnan han population overall prevalence of ultrasound examination of liver disease is higher, and fatty liver is a high-risk disease. The population should improve their lifestyle, enhance their health awareness, and conduct regular physical examinations to achieve early detection and early treatment of liver diseases and improve the health of the population.2.In the region, the prevalence of fatty liver is higher in people with eating pepper, vegetable oil and blending oil, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, central obesity and occupational non-agricultural people, which are risk factors for fatty liver3.The results of the liver diameter ultrasound measurement of the normal liver population filled the blank of the liver ultrasound in the Han population in Yunnan at high altitude,in order to provide a basis for the revision of the normal liver diameter ultrasound data.
