| Objective This study aims to explore and compare the impact of the application of anterior aesthetic evaluation form and psychological intervention on the satisfaction of patients with anterior aesthetic restoration. Then the difference and significance of the influence of patient factors and iatrogenic factors on satisfaction in anterior aesthetic restoration were compared. This study will provide relevant reference for clinical anterior aesthetic restoration in order to obtain good aesthetic restoration satisfaction. Methods Totally 140 cases of patients with anterior aesthetic restorations in the department of Prosthodontics of Ningxia Medical University Affiliated Stomatology Hospital from January 2018 to September 2018 were selected. They were divided into groups A,B,C and D randomly, with 35 cases in each group.Group A was repaired by anterior aesthetic restoration.Group B was treated with anterior aesthetic restoration combined with psychological intervention.Group C was treated with anterior aesthetic restoration combined with anterior aesthetic evaluation form.Group D was combined with the application of anterior aesthetic evaluation form and psychological intervention in the anterior aesthetic restoration process. Two weeks after the end of the repair treatment, the patient was scheduled to be re-diagnosed and evaluated for satisfaction. Results 1.The degree of dental anxiety was different in terms of gender, age, education and history of repair treatment, and the differences were statistically significant.Female patients had greater dental anxiety than men.The degree of dental anxiety in young,middle-aged and elderly patients decreased sequentially. The degree of dental anxiety in primary, secondary, junior college, undergraduate and above degree increased in turn.Patients with no history of repair therapy had higher level of dental anxiety than that of patients with a history of repair therapy.2.The overall satisfaction of patients with anterior aesthetic restoration had statistically significant differences in gender, age, and history of repair treatment. There was no statistically significant difference in academic qualifications.Female patients were less satisfied than men.Young and middle-aged patients had the lowest satisfaction, and middle-aged patients had the highest satisfaction. The satisfaction of patients with no history of repair therapy was lower than that of patients with a history of repair therapy.3.The overall satisfaction scores of the four groups A,B,C,and D were all greater than28 points,so they all achieved higher satisfaction. The overall satisfaction scores of groups B,C,and D were higher than that of group A,and the differences in overall satisfaction between group A and groups B,C,and D were statistically significant.Overall satisfaction of group B was higher than that of group C,but the difference was not statistically significant.Overall satisfaction of group B was lower than that of group D,but the difference was not statistically significant.Overall satisfaction of group D was higher than that of group C and the difference was statistically significant. The results showed that patients of anterior aesthetic restoration combined with anterior aesthetic evaluation form and psychological intervention had the highest satisfaction. Conclusion In the anterior aesthetic restoration, the application of psychological intervention or anterior aesthetic evaluation form can help improve the overall satisfaction of patients after repair, and the patient satisfaction was the best after the combination of the two.The psychological factors of patients were more significant than the iatrogenic factors onpost-repair satisfaction in the three aspects of tooth color, pronunciation and overall situation. There was no statistically significant difference between the two factors in terms of overall satisfaction, that was, there was no significant difference in the influence of patient factors and iatrogenic factors on overall satisfaction in anterior aesthetic restoration. |
