Research On Home-based Old-age Care Model Of Wuhan Medical And Nursing Integration Community

The constantly increasing aging population in China makes the matter of supporting the aged increasingly serious.Therefore,for the Chinese government,how to ease the aging pressure now becomes one of the major livelihood issues.This thesis aims to study the community-and-home based pension model that combines medical treatment with endowment implemented in Wuhan in terms of the issue of management,legal system and financing methods by taking the aged people in Wuhan as object through data analysis,contrastive analysis,field visits and investigation and other research methods.First of all,the thesis begins with the defects of conventional pension model to show that the community-and-home based pension model combining treatment with endowment is feasible and practical.Then,literature review presents and analyses the relevant researches at home and abroad to unveil the shortcomings in the process of combining medical treatment with endowment in China.In addition,through the analysis of current situation of the elderly care in Wuhan and the current relevant policies,it's proved that such a pension model implemented in Wuhan is essential and feasible.However,in the process of implementing the pension model arise some problems because the power and responsibilities are unclear and overlapped,financing methods are single and the relevant legal system are not sound enough.In the end,by learning foreign experience,some suggestions and solutions are offered to improve the community-and-home based pension model combining treatment with endowment based on the existing problems and realities of Wuhan.
