Objective Explore the correlation of 45 ? moxibustion on regulating blood fat and anti-oxidative stress and the protection of vascular endothelium,by observing the effects of different temperature(38?,45?)moxibustion on blood lipid,serum ox-LDL,NO and hepatic pathological morphology in hyperlipidemia rats.Method The 60 SD rats were divided into four groups : normal group,model control group,the 38 ? moxibustion group and the 45 ? moxibustion group,with 15 rats in each group.The latter three groups of rats were fed with high fat diet feed for 8 weeks,resulting in rat models of hyperlipidemia.Then the rats in 38 ? moxibustion group and 45 ? moxibustion group were given moxibustion therap at Shenque point and Zusanli point once another day,temperature was controlled in 38 ? + /-1 ?,45 ? + /-1 ?.After four weeks,check the blood TC?TG?LDL-C?HDL-C of the rats by using biochemical colorimetric method,detect the serum of ox-LDL,NO by using ELISA method.Results(1)Compared with normal group,the contents of serum TC,TG and LDL-c were increased in model group.45 ? moxibustion group compared with model group and 38 ? moxibustion group,the contents of serum TC,TG,LDL – C were decreased.The differences were statistically significant.(2)Compared with normal group,the contents of serum ox-LDL were increased and serum NO were decreased in model group.45 ? moxibustion group compared with model group and 38 ? moxibustion group,the contents of serum ox-LDL were increased and serum NO were decreased.The differences were statistically significant.(3)Compared with the normal group,the hepatic steatosis of the rats in the model group was obvious,and the inflammatory cells in the portal area were significantly infiltrated.Compared with model group and 45° moxibustion group at 45°C,the degree of liver steatosis and inflammation were reduced,and the structure of hepatocytes and lobulars recovered to different degrees.Conclusion Moxibustion at 45? temperature has a great effect on regulating blood lipid,which also can restrain anti-oxidative stress and protect vascular endothelium and also improve hepatic steatosis.
